Argent Wolf Berserker | Boss in Code Vein Code Vein guide, walkthrough

Last update: 01 October 2019

Location: Area F-15, near Gated Room

Argent Wolf Berserker is a boss that due to its size and very small arena, may seem hard to defeat. However, this isn't true for this boss. Although his attacks gave good range and damage, this is one of the few bosses who can be launched in the air, or at least backstabbed - getting behind his back isn't difficult.

He mostly attacks with his mace - Argent Wolf Berserker | Boss in Code Vein - Bosses - Code Vein Guide

He mostly attacks with his mace. Keep in mind that he most often makes two attacks (he can also attack with a single hit, but he does this very rarely). However, never performs one attack after the other. The second attack has a slight delay, so don't roll 2 times in a row because you will take damage from the second hit. Try to stay close to the boss while performing perfect dodges to charge the Focus Gauge, which activates a special Blood Veil attack (R1+triangle on PS4). When you don't have a Focus Gauge, try to backstab him as often as possible.

The only difference in the second phase is that he surrounds himself with a blood barrier that causes you to deal him less blood damage (the damage is halved) - Argent Wolf Berserker | Boss in Code Vein - Bosses - Code Vein Guide

The only difference in the second phase is that he surrounds himself with a blood barrier that causes you to deal him less blood damage (the damage is halved). This means that if you have a buff on a weapon that inflicts Drain Attack damage, it will deal much less damage. The same goes for attacks you have performed before, i.e. a special attack with Focus Gauge and a backstab. However, this doesn't mean that you have to stop dealing him damage with these moves - they are still a very good option to defeat him. You just deal half the damage. His new move in phase two covers a large area with red spots. He does it when you are too far away from him. As soon as he does this attack, just move away from this field to avoid an explosion.
