The following pages provide a complete list of all the trophies available in Bloodborne. The base game offers 34 trophies. There are 20 Bronze trophies, 7 Silver trophies, 6 Gold trophies and one Platinum trophy. The Old Hunters DLC adds 6 additional trophies - 4 Bronze, one Silver, and one Gold trophy.
Bloodborne Trophies
Amygdala
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat Amygdala.
Comment: Amygdala is one of the bosses that you face in Nightmare Frontier. Check the chapter devoted to boss fights in our game guide.
Cleric Beast
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat Cleric Beast.
Comment: Cleric Beast is one of the optional bosses that you face in Central Yharnam. Check the chapter devoted to boss fights in our game guide.
Blood-starved Beast
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat Blood-starved Beast.
Comment: Blood-starved Beast is one of the bosses that you face in Old Yharnam. Check the chapter devoted to boss fights in our game guide.
Bloodborne
Trophy type: Platinum
How to unlock: Get every other trophy.
Cainhurst
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock: Gain entry to Cainhurst, the lost and ruined castle.
Comment: to gain access to Castle Cainhurst, you need to acquire Cainhurst Summons artifact in Iosefka's Clinic. Then, head to the monument at Hemwick's Crossing, and use the transport to the castle.
The Choir
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock: Gain entry to the realm of the Choir, the high stratum of the Healing Church.
Comment: Reach Yahar'gul, Unseen Village and acquire Upper Cathedral Key. Take the key and use it at the top of the Cathedral Ward.
Shadow of Yharnam
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat Shadow of Yharnam.
Comment: Shadow of Yharnam is one of the bosses that you face in Forbidden Woods. Check the chapter devoted to boss fights in our game guide.
Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos.
Comment: Ebrietas is one of the optional bosses that you face in Upper Cathedral Ward. Check the chapter devoted to boss fights in our game guide.
Hunters Essence
Trophy type: Gold
How to unlock: Acquire all hunter weapons.
Comment: Remember that you will need Badges to unlock new weapons, so try to collect them regularly. Weapons can be purchased in Hunter's Dream, however, there are some exceptions:
- Beast Claw - Can be found in Ailing Loran Chalice.
- Cannon - Can be found in Forbidden Woods.
- Evelyn - You need to reach the secret Castle Cainhurst, look for a chest and visit the shop.
- Hunter's Torch - can be found near corpses in Old Yharnam.
- Reiterpallasch - You need to reach the secret Castle Cainhurst and search the ground floor for a weapon chest.
- Saw Spear - Investigate sewers in Central Yharnam, acquire Saw Hunter Badge, and visit the shop.
- Tonitrus - Search Advent Plaza, acquire Spark Hunter Badge and visit the shop.
- Torch - Can be found by the defeated ogre in Central Yharnam.
- Wooden Shield - Can be found at the top of Cathedral Ward.
Furthermore, Burial Blade can be purchased in Hunter's Dream in New Game Plus mode, after defeating Gehrman, The First Hunter.
Celestial Emissary
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat Celestial Emissary.
Comment: Celestial Emissary is one of the optional bosses that you face in Upper Cathedral Ward. Check the chapter devoted to boss fights in our game guide.
Chalice of Ailing Loran
Trophy type: Bronze,
How to unlock: Acquire the Chalice of Ailing Loran that seals the tragic land lost to the sands.
Comment: Chalice of Ailing Loran is an artifact dropped by Amygdala in Nightmare Frontier.
Chalice of Isz
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Acquire the Great Chalice of Isz that seals the home of the cosmic kin.
Comment: Chalice of Isz is an artifact dropped by Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos. She is one of the optional bosses that you face in Upper Cathedral Ward.
Chalice of Pthumeru
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Acquire the Chalice of Pthumeru that seals the catacombs that form a web deep below Yharnam.
Comment: Chalice of Pthumeru is an artifact dropped by Blood-Starved Beast from Old Yharnam.
Blood Gem Contact
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Acquire a blood gem that imbues hunter weapons with special strength.
Comment: In order to unlock this trophy, you will need to acquire any Blood Gem. You can find these items regularly during your adventures. All you need to do is collect one of them (you don't have to use or interact with the item).
Rune Contact
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Acquire a Caryll Rune that endows hunters with special strength.
Comment: In order to unlock this trophy, you will need to acquire any Caryll Rune. You can read more about them in the Caryll Runes section of the game guide.
Nightmare Lecture Building
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock: Gain entry into the Byrgenwerth lecture building, that drifts within the realm of nightmare.
Comment: You can unlock this trophy automatically after defeating The One Reborn (boss) and searching the area on the upper floor.
Mergos Wet Nurse
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat Mergo's Wet Nurse.
Comment: Mergo's Wet Nurse is the final boss from Nightmare of Mensis. Check the chapter devoted to boss fights in our game guide.
Martyr Logarius
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat Martyr Logarius.
Comment: Martyr Logarius is one of the optional bosses that you face in Forsaken Castle Cainhurst. Check the chapter devoted to boss fights in our game guide.
Micolash, Host of the Nightmare
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat Micolash, Host of the Nightmare.

How to unlock: Defeat Vicar Amelia.

Childhoods Beginning
Trophy type: Gold
How to unlock: You became an infant Great One, lifting humanity into its next childhood.
Comment: This trophy is related to the game ending. You need to defeat Gehrman, The First Hunter after consuming three One Third of Umbilical Cord. Check the walkthrough to find more info.
Rom, The Vacuous Spider
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat Rom, The Vacuous Spider.
Comment: Rom, The Vacuous Spider is one of the bosses that you face in Byrgenwerth. Check the chapter devoted to boss fights in our game guide.
Hunters Craft
Trophy type: Gold
How to unlock: acquire all Hunter Tools.
Comment: This means all the items that allow you to use magical effects. These items are:
- A Call Beyond - Search for it after defeating the Celestial Emissary.
- Augur of Ebrietas - Search for a chest in the locked room of the Lecture Building.
- Beast Roar - Search the house in the Forbidden Woods.
- Blood Gem Workshop Tool - Search for a chest in Central Yharnam, after defeating Father Gascoigne.
- Choir Bell - Search for it after defeating Micolash and acquiring the key.
- Empty Phantasm Shell - Search for a chest on the upper floor of Byrgenwerth.
- Executioner's Gloves - Search for a chest in the Forsaken Castle Cainhurst library.
- Messenger's Gift - Search the swamps in Nightmare Frontier.
- Old Hunter Bone - Search for it in the Old Abandoned Workshop, in Cathedral Ward.
- Rune Workshop Tool - Search for it near the corpses, after defeating The Witch of Hemwick.
- Tiny Tonitrus - Search the area where the Upper Cathedral Key was found.
The Witch of Hemwick
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat The Witches of Hemwick.
Comment: The Witches of Hemwick are optional bosses that you face in Hemwick Charnel Lane. Check the chapter devoted to boss fights in our game guide.
Blood Gem Master
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock: Acquire an extremely precious blood gem.
Comment: To unlock this trophy you will have to acquire an extremely precious Blood Gem. You can find these items regularly during your adventures. However, this cannot be a "normal" Blood Gem - the item needs to have number 5 or higher.
Rune Master
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock: Acquire an extremely precious Caryll Rune.
Comment: To unlock this trophy you will have to acquire an extremely precious Caryll Rune (collecting a "normal" Caryll Rune won't count). Check the chapter devoted to Caryll Runes in our game guide to find out more about these artifacts.
Yharnam Sunrise
Trophy type: Gold
How to unlock: live through the hunt, and see another day.
Comment: This trophy is related to the game ending. You need to accept Gehrman's final request and Submit Your Life.
Yharnam, Pthumerian Queen
Trophy type: Gold
How to unlock: Defeat Yharnam, Blood Queen of the Old Labyrinth.
Comment: Yharnam, Blood Queen is a unique boss from Chalice Dungeon. You will need to reach the final level of the Pthumerian Chalice Dungeon to face the Queen.
Honouring Wishes
Trophy type: Gold
How to unlock: Captivated by the moon presence, you pledge to watch over the hunter's dream.
Comment: This trophy is related to the game ending. You will need to defeat Gehrman, The First Hunter without ever consuming three One Third of Umbilical Cord. Check the walkthrough to find more details.
Weapon Master
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock: Acquire a weapon of the highest level.
Comment: To unlock this trophy, you will need to use Blood Stones and fully upgrade one of your weapons (we recommend the one that you often use). The highest weapon level is +10.
The Source of the Dream
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock: Discover the abandoned old workshop, the source of the hunter's dream.
Comment: To reach the abandoned old workshop you will first need to defeat Blood-starved Beast, and use the unlocked passage in Cathedral Ward. While investigating this passage, look for places where you can jump down on a lower wooden platform. Your hero will take some damage but unfortunately, you cannot avoid it. Jump down again to reach the door leading to the workshop.

Old Hunters Essence
Trophy type: Gold
How to unlock: Acquire all old hunter weapons.
Comment: The Old Hunters DLC offers 16 additional weapons.
Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower.
Comment: Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower is one of the bosses from The Old Hunters DLC.
Laurence, the First Vicar
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat the beast that was once Laurence, the First Vicar.
Comment: Laurence, the First Vicar is one of the bosses from The Old Hunters DLC.
Ludwig, the Holy Blade
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat the beast that was once Ludwig, the Holy Blade.
Comment: Ludwig, the Holy Blade is the first boss of The Old Hunters DLC. You will encounter him in Nightmare Church.
Orphan of Kos
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock: Defeat Orphan of Kos.
Comment: Orphan of Kos is the final boss from The Old Hunters DLC. Fighting him is mandatory.
Living Failures
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock: Defeat the failed attempts to become Great Ones.
Comment: Living Failures are a group of monsters and facing them can be compared to a boss fight. You need to eliminate them. You will encounter these creatures in Research Hall.
