The page contains spoilers about the main characters and their role in the events depicted. You don't have to worry about spoilers, the story's ending, or the endings of the plots of individual characters.
Amicia
Amicia is the main character of Plague Tale: Requiem and you control her for the vast majority of the game. In the second part of the series, she is still a young teenage girl, although compared to the events of Plague Tale: Innocence she has become a bolder and more valiant person. Amicia will have a number of fights with bandits or soldiers as she progresses through the game, meaning she will not always avoid detection.
Hugo
Hugo - the brother of the main character - he is playable only once in the game. This happens in chapter 12 when you have to find Amicia.
You can use Hugo's powers at select moments in the game. The boy is able to control the rats and the game then switches to the view of the group you are controlling. It is a good way, for example, to safely eliminate opponents.
Lucas
Lucas is Amicia's and Hugo's friend, who already appeared in the first part of the series. He often accompanies Amicia and can help her, for example, in solving puzzles or killing enemies. However, he never becomes a playable character.
Beatrice
Beatrice is the mother of Hugo and Amicia, whom you also know from Plague Tale: Innocence. She appears neither as a playable character nor as a companion. She appears only in cut-scenes.
Sophia
Sophia is the captain of the ship that the characters use to travel around the world in Plague Tale: Requiem. Sophia can accompany you. Her unique piece of equipment is a prism that can be used to distract opponents.
Arnaud
Arnaud is a warrior who will initially be the main characters' enemy. Eventually, he will become their ally. He can travel with the main characters as a companion. Arnaud's unique feature is that he can targets pointed by you. Arnaud excels in melee combat, assuming there are not too many enemies to fight at once.
