Chapter 5 - In Our Wake is one of the more difficult chapters to fully complete in Plague Tale: Requiem. Our secrets' guide explains where to find the flower for Hugo's Herbarium and Souvenirs.

Chapter 5 - list of collectibles

There are 3 secrets and collectibles to find in the fifth chapter of Plague Tale: Requiem. These are:

1. Hugo's Herbarium x1
2. Souvenir x2

This description will help you find them. They are discussed in the order in which they are found.

Souvenir #1 - The Stag's Roar

You can find this secret early on in the chapter, right after freeing the boat and trying to catch up to it. The road ahead is initially linear, but once you arrive at a fork in the road, go through the forest.

You'll eventually hear some animal sounds. Stay in the area for a while to unlock the collectible.

Souvenir #2 - Huuuugoooo!

This one is well hidden, and the opportunity to get it appears in the final phase of your journey through the construction site, in a location where Amicia and Lucas use light sources to deal with rats to be exact.

In the final moments of the crossing, you need to destroy the hook near Lucas and set fire to the hay so he can rejoin Amicia.

Instead of continuing along the main path, make a detour and explore the nearby scaffolding. In the area shown in the screenshot, Amicia can use her slingshot to hit a hook and lower a ladder. You and Lucas (you need to be accompanied by him) must follow the path laid by the 2 ladders.

Once that is done, approach the area where Lucas is standing and press the interaction button. The heroes will greet those on the boat - this action unlocks the collectible.

Hugo's Herbarium #1 - Anemone

This secret is very well hidden and can be found after solving the ferry puzzle, letting the boat with Hugo and Beatrice go further down the river. Amicia, meanwhile, will reach a large stone structure with wooden balconies pictured above.

You must locate the raised bridge above you and shoot the hook with your sling. You need to stand in the right place (pictured above).

Find a cart on wheels nearby. You must move it to the place where you can climb up the ledge adjacent to the lowered bridge.

Walk across the bridge and turn left. You can now climb the ledge.

Reach the vantage point from which you can see the ferry crossing. Here's where you'll find the flower.
