- A Plague Tale Innocence changes its premise slightly as the story progresses. The first few chapters don't have any supernatural elements. The heroes are defenseless in open confrontations. Their main enemies are Inquisitors who have to be avoided at all cost.
- However, as you progress, you will start to encounter more and more rats. You will notice that their behavior isn't completely natural. One of the more extreme examples are living towers made out of rats - they are deadly both to the heroes and other human opponents.
