Hyperdrive and Antimatter in No Man's Sky NEXT No Man's Sky 2022 Guide

Hyperdrive is one of the starship propulsion methods available in No Man's Sky. Hyperdrive is a lightspeed propulsion drive that can be installed in your starship to move faster between planets. Antimatter is used for Hyperdrive fuel cells.
How to get a Hyperdrive?
Start the game on a new save. During your first flight through space you receive a signal coming from one of the planets that informs about danger. Go to that planet and find a Waypoint Beacon - it will give you coordinates for the signal's source.
Go to that place. There, you can find an alien who will give you Hyperdrive blueprints. The alien is in bad shape after fighting with local animals. Heal him. The alien will reward you with Hyperdrive blueprints.
How to craft a Hyperdrive?
To craft a Hyperdrive you need blueprints and a few resources. You need 5 Microprocessors and 125 units of Chromatic Metal (our guide has a dedicated page that will teach you how to obtain that resource).
Upgrades
A Hyperdrive can be upgraded in three ways - in red, blue and yellow system. Simply craft your Hyperdrive in one of those systems. Thanks to that your drive becomes even faster and allows you to avoid anomalies.
How to get Antimatter?
Antimatter is the last material that you need to craft a Warp Cell. You can get it in a few ways, e.g. by crafting or purchasing at a Galactic market terminal.
Antimatter can be crafted with the following resources - Chromatic Metal (25) and Condensed Carbon (20).
