As the main storyline progresses, you'll encounter a minigame called the Clan Wars. Below you can find all the important data regarding this lengthy subplot of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.

1. You begin the game with a small group of fighters. However, as the time progresses, you'll be joined by more powerful characters. During your stay at Onomichi, you can approach some of the characters and do battle with them. Win to make the given character join your clan.
2. Every mission has a time limit - you need to defeat all opponents before the time elapses.
3. Your first objective is to destroy a corrupt organization known as JUSTIS. As the time progresses, you'll also face Amon's clan.
4. The bottom part of the screen holds a bar known as "Deployment Gauge". Its power is used to send new units to combat.

1. You can send five basic units: Brawlers (melee fighters), Gunners (firearm-wielding units), Heavies (tanks), Rushers (agile fighters armed with swords), and Grenadiers (grenade-armed units).
2. Moreover, each mission enables you to recruit up to five captains that will join the combat and allow you to recruit a given type of a unit. Each captain has a special ability that can be used during combat.
3. Captains gather experience and gain in strength. It is recommended to upgrade one of Kiryu skills that increases their experience gains.
4. Your job is to send new units to fight the encountered opponents. You need to react to the situation on the battlefield. Most of the time, you need to use special abilities to e.g. heal your troops or blind the enemy units.
5. From time to time, you'll be facing more powerful JUSTIS units. The battle plays out during normal combat (you'll fight as Kiryu).
6. In all, you are looking at 32 missions with increasing difficulty levels.
