Yakuza 6 Trophy Guide Yakuza 6 Guide and Walkthrough

Last update: 16 December 2022

On this page you can find Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life trophy guide. Our trophy guide explains how to unlock every achievement - also we inform you about the requirements of the most unique trophies and the best ways to earn them. Thanks to the trophy guide you will be able to unlock the Platinum Trophy in Yakuza 6 and you'll find out how much time you have to spend with the game to get one.

The most important information about Yakuza 6's trophies

  1. Yakuza 6 The Song of Life game was originally released only on the PS4 console. You can also earn trophies on PS5 thanks to the backward compatibility. The game was released on March 25, 2021 on PC and on consoles Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. All of these platforms will allow you to earn achievements with the exception of the platinum trophy, which is reserved only for the PlayStation platform.
  2. There are 59 trophies to unlock - 1 platinum trophy (PS4 and PS5 only), 1 gold trophy, 7 silver trophies and 50 bronze trophies.
  3. All trophies can be obtained only in single-player mode. The mini-games for more than one player appear in the game, although none of them are related to achievements. It's not required to have active PS+ / Xbox Live Gold subscription to earn a platinum trophy.
  4. You can play the game at any difficulty level. One of the available achievements refers to the completion of the game at the highest difficulty level - Legend, but Yakuza 6 allows you to cheat and obtain this trophy by completing only the final Chapter. We presented this in more detail in the description of the Dragon of Legend achievement.
  5. You don't have to deal with all the optional activities in one moment. The side quests, mini-games or exploration-related trophies you can leave for later, or even do them after you've finished the story.
  6. The Dandling Dragon achievement is the only one you can miss. It is best to create a save before playing this chapter so you don't have to start the game again in case of failure.
  7. Some mini-games might be problematic, especially those related to clan wars (Clan Creator) and baseball games. They may require you to spend a lot of time on playing and have great skills.
  8. In the game there is a grind associated with trophies. It mainly concerns the mentioned Clan War mode, as well as increasing Kiryu's stats to a very high level. You may be forced to continue grinding your character even after you have earned achievements associated with optional quests and activities.
  9. It should take you about 50 hours to get the platinum trophy. Yakuza 6 it's not the biggest game in the series, and it's also a facilitation that you don't have to complete it twice to unlock the Legend Mode trophy. After completing the main storyline, you can spend most of your time on side missions, mini-games and grind.

Save the game in Chapter 13 during your first run, specifically during the last night in Kamurocho and before the final moment that was called point of no return - it is shown on the attached image.

After completing the game, load the save from Chapter 13 and change the difficulty level to the newly unlocked Legend in the options. You have to deal with the final part again and this time you must finish it at the highest level of difficulty (take with you as much medicines and other useful supplies as you can), but it is still less troublesome than having to go through the entire game in the Legend Mode.

The game always displays a message on the screen about the start of a side quest, and you can also follow them from the pause menu. Unfortunately there are several obstacles to earn this trophy:

  1. Some side missions are hard to find. Take advantage of our guide's maps, because they may lead you to spots where the side missions start.
  2. Some side missions are unlocked only after advancing to a particular chapter of the main story. Fortunately, nothing stands in the way to deal with them even after the completion of the main plot.
  3. Some side missions are related with large mini-games (e.g. management of the baseball team). If you don't like specific mini-game or you're bad in playing it, then this can be an additional impediment.

However, it is much easier thanks to the fact that none of the side quests can be failed or missed.

This achievement is just about expanding the clan as you play the mini-game. Increasing the number of clan members (new recruits you can e.g. meet on the street or get by performing side quests) and their levels allows you to increase the influence of the entire clan. Then begin to repeat the simplest missions of Clan Creator, choosing the best captains from the Kiryu Clan. This will allow you to quickly win more fights and without carefully tracking the actions of the captains, who should do great even without your close supervision.
