Ways to unlock and general premises | Fixer Contracts Watch Dogs Guide

Last update: 11 May 2016

Fixer Contracts is one of the four main categories of side missions, which you can complete in your spare time (they are not available, while on a main mission). The missions of this category are divided into four sub-categories and they concentrate, mainly, on distracting the enemy law enforcers and on transporting vehicles from point A to point B.

The individual Fixer Contracts become available at random moments of the game and in random order. You will learn about the option to play a missions, predominantly, from the message displayed on the screen. From now on, you can start the mission, whether by finding its marker on the map (the blue point that marks the starting point), or by selecting the contract directly from the menu of Aiden's smartphone.

Several important points to remember:

1) Unlike in the case of the Crimes Detected, you do not need to hurry to start a Fixer Contract, unlocked by the game, because they do not disappear, out of a sudden, from the world map.

2) Another element that singles out the Fixer Contracts is the fact that you can replay them over and over again (you simply need to select the individual mission from the list, in one of the smartphone's menu). The purpose of that is to improve on your score in the individual contracts, because you can obtain more cash, by getting better results. Apart from that, you can also try to get promoted, to higher positions, in the Leaderboards.

3) Each Fixer Contract is treated as an individual mission so, up to the moment in which you complete the mission, you will not be able to start any other side mission.

4) One of the requirements, to complete the game in 100% is to complete 40 contracts. There are more of them in the game so, you do not need to complete them all and you can skip, e.g. those of the contracts that you are not too good at. At the same time, do not worry if not all of the side missions are available right from the beginning. They become available as you progress in the game (you can speed the process up, by completing the other side missions).

There are various rewards that you obtain, for completing the Fixer Contracts and they have been listed below:

  • Cash (the amount of cash that you obtain depends on how well you did during that contract)
  • Experience points (only in the specific cases, e.g. for neutralizing a car in the pursuit, or for losing the police)
  • Car "Zusume R"
  • The "Offensive Driver" skill (it becomes especially useful during police pursuits of higher levels, as well as when you need to destroy the vehicle that you are chasing and you cannot rely on hacking into elements of the surroundings)
  • Car "Boxberg LE"
  • The "End of Line" trophy/achievement (you need to complete any 40 side missions)
