Each map in Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has 2 grimoires. If you win with them in your possession, they will make your chest to be of a higher level which, in turn, lets you get better loot. However, grimoires lower health of all the party members by 33% per grimoire - check out "What is the purpose of the tomes and the grimoires?" chapter to learn more.
