The Blood-Soaked Monolith is the last step in the investigation regarding the disappearances. During this mission you reach the "headquarters" of the Heretics and get a chance to eliminate their last squad.

Walkthrough
The Blood-Soaked Monolith is a difficult mission. During it you will have to face hordes of enemies. The majority of them are regular units. To make things a little bit easier for you, some of the enemies have melee weapons which gives you more time to react. You will also come across a few Champions. At the start of the mission you should face single enemies of this type - you shouldn't have problems with them.
The first spot where you can come across a bigger line of defense is the small niche in the corridor that you have to follow to continue the mission. There, you will come across a large number of enemies. The hostile forces consist of basic units, three Champions and one Chaos Engine. There is a chest behind the Chaos Engine. Get closer to it and the game will spawn its guardian. Entering the niche will make you get caught in a crossfire, just like in the picture below:
The best way to win this fight is to stay in the corridor. Thanks to that you will get a little bit more time. Units further in the niche will have to regroup in order to attack you. In the meantime, you will get a chance to eliminate enemies who are closer to your character.
Win the fight and then proceed forward. You come across another group of enemies that consists of regular units and Champions. After a while you will reach huge doors. Open them to face Sinax - the Dark Apostle. He has a few soldiers with him. However, this chamber has even more enemies. They can join the fight if you get closer to them. Because of that you shouldn't move too much when you are fighting with Sinax. Otherwise, you will have to face more enemies.
Kill Sinax to get the last evidence for the investigation. Pick up the data to complete both the mission and the investigation.
