On this page of the Valheim guide, you will learn how to use the trophies dropped by enemies.

Each opponent you defeat can drop a trophy. The bosses have a 100% chance of dropping them. As for the rest of the opponents, the chance is lower.

Trophies can be used in the game in 3 ways:

1. trophies from bosses can be sacrificed in the circle of power (starting place) to gain special powers, which give a temporary bonus to specific stats;

1. you need deer trophies to craft and upgrade the Stagbreaker. They are also required to summon the first boss in the game;
2. other trophies have cosmetic uses only. They can be placed in your house.

As you can easily see, trophies have little practical use – collecting them is mostly pointless. You can discard them to save inventory space.
