It turns out that fans' fears from before the release were confirmed and the game does indeed contain a lot of microtransactions. Players who spend real money can expect a lot of facilitation when compared to those who don't want to spend real currency.
The ingredients necessary for crafting and enchanting can be bought in the shop (you need a lot of time to farm them). Many features, such as more inventory space, are also paygated behind premium currency. This means that players who spend real money in Undecember will be better equipped than those who spend only time.
