Put on clothes Anna Henrietta will consider appropriate for the soiree
This is an optional objective of this quest, but you will have no problems completing it. You have to head towards the north-western part of Beauclair (M4,15), where you'll find a tailor. It is highly possible that you will be attacked by several bandits along your way. You can either deal with them yourself, or attract the attention of the city guards to get help from them. One of the opponents has on him a Contract on a witcher.
After you reach the tailor's shop, talk to Pierre. Access the shopping window and buy any articles of clothing. An example set of articles that you can buy has been presented in the above screenshot (a doublet, trousers and shoes). After that, access your inventory and put on the clothes that you have bought.
Meet Anna Henrietta in Mountebank Alley
The alley is in the central part of the city (M4,16) and you can go there right after the beginning of the quest, or after you have changed. Talk to Anna Henrietta, take the mask from her and go to the party to Mandragora.
Take part in the soiree's entertainments
This is another side quest. Before you start searching for the woman with orchid in her hair, you can participate in the party's entertainments. These are:
- Picture painting. You can equip paint balls (in total, there are fifteen of them) and throw them against the wall.
- Drink absinthe.
- Join the mime performance. You have to stand in the correct spot and press the button shown on the screen to "attract" them.
- See the dolphin show.
- Lantern releasing. They are on the balustrade. You can approach any of them and press the interaction key/button.
Search the alcoves for a woman with a Koviri orchid in her hair
The alcove that you are searching for is in the northern part of the estate (the entrance has been shown in the screenshot. After you get there, a cutscene of the conversation with the woman and painter Dorian Viless starts. The woman is not Cecilia, but you will learn where you should go looking for her.
Use your Witcher Senses to search the refreshment tables
Reach the marked area and activate your Witcher Senses. You have to find a table with an opened heart-shaped box on it and examine the box.
Use your Witcher senses to follow the scent
Again, use your Witcher Senses and follow the red tracks. They will take you to one of the estate entrances. Walk inside and talk to the Bodyguard. After that, you will be let in. Go to the chamber, only to find Cecilia dead.
Using your Witcher Senses, follow the tracks across the balconies
Start by examining the corpse. Then, examine that mark on the blood-covered hand. walk over the crashed door onto the neighboring balcony. Now, follow the footprints to the ladder. After you get to the balcony above, enter the chamber.
Use your Witcher Senses to search the room and find out what happened there
Activate your Witcher Senses and find the objects marked in red. The most important two of them have been shown in the above screenshots - these are Decorated hunting knife and Valuable jewel.
This will initiate a cutscene of the conversation with Orianna and Anna Henrietta. At some point, you will be joined by Regis and Dettlaff. When you will have to make a choice, you can behave in any way you want, as this will not trigger Dettlaff. This quest ends after you have decided what to do next.
