If we have decided to help Pete in the first episode of the game, we will end up in a truck with him.
We begin the chapter from a conversation with Pete, looking at his wound.

Pete will ask us to hand him a saw that's lying on the shelf.

If in the first season we have cut off Lee's hand, choosing the answer 1.) Cutting it off won't work will bring an additional utterance by Clementine, who will mention Lee.
After the conversation with Pete we look around the truck. Here we will find truck doors (Truck Doors - Look At), Pete (Pete - Look at) and also our backpack (Backpack - Open). In the further part of the truck we will find a hack saw (Hack Saw - Pick Up) and a box (Box - Open) containing cigarettes, which we give to Pete (Cigarette - Light). After walking to the front of the truck, we find the ignition with the keys (Car Keys - Look At/use) and a radio (Radio - Look At).
After a short nap, we notice as Pete writhes on the floor. We pick up the hack saw (Hack Saw - Grab) and we approach Pete (Pete - Examine).

After we notice that Pete is still with us, we start a conversation. Pete tells us that he doesn't want to die. He is terrified.
1.) What does it feel like ? |
2.) Everyone ends up like this |

Pete will ask us to take care of Nick.
1.) I can't promise anything |
2.) He's on his own |
3.) I'll watch out for him |
4.) ... |
Pete tells us that he is going to distract the zombies, which will help us in our escape. We can tell him to come with us or just thank him.
1.) You're coming with me
2.) Thank you, Pete

During the escape we will have to dodge a zombie attack by pressing a direction key, which will pop out on the screen.
