Below you can find all solutions for "A Delicate Situation" quest in Skyrim: Bruma. Currently, the quest is bugged. However, you can learn how to solve it.
Where to start the quest: Castle Bruma Great Hall/terrains near the castle
Person giving the quest: Adius Vilius
If you completed the previous quest for Adius (retrieving stolen artifacts) then you can meet a guard during one of your walks through the city. He informs you that Captain Adius wants to talk with you. Go to him and you will learn about a certain cult that has rather radical views. Adius asks you to "solve" this situation in a delicate way.
The place where the cultists are is far away. It can be found far east - you need to travel a long path if you want to reach them. Finally, when you get to the camp you will be approached by a woman, Aera the Devout. She asks you about the goal of your visit. Tell her that you are part of Talos worshipers. After that you must tell her that the captain of the guard is worried about their religion views.
Speak with Talos worshipers about their situation.
Sadly, the quest is currently bugged (Patch 1.2) and it is impossible to finish it. The developers promised that the quest will work properly in the new version. In the meantime you can make a workaround - press " ' " and type one of the commends below to see how the quest should have ended (you move to another step of the quest):
- setstage CYRBrumaMS08 21 - in this variant the Talos worshipers stay hidden and keep worshiping Talos. Go to the captain for your reward (750 gold).
- setstage CYRBrumaMS08 31 - here, you managed to convince Talos worshipers to stop their practice. The captain is very pleased and he gives you 750 gold.
- setstage CYRBrumaMS08 41 - in this variant you encouraged the worshipers to continue worshiping Talos and stop hiding. The captain fears the potential effects of their actions but he still gives you 750 gold.
- setstage CYRBrumaMS08 50 - this is the most drastic ending for this quest. You killed Talos worshipers and went to the captain who is now furious because of what you have done. You receive no reward.
