In The Outer Worlds, your character's load capacity determines how many items you can store in the inventory. The greater the load capacity, the more loot you can collect while exploring the world. This is especially important at the beginning of the game when it is necessary to collect everything you come across - you can sell them to get a few bits, the in-game currency. Read this page to learn how to increase the capacity of the character in The Outer Worlds.
