On this page you will find a list of Photo Crew tasks from the Freestyle category in The Crew 2. These challenges are divided into three categories - Reckless, King of the Hill, and Weird. Here you will find information about the requirements for unlocking specific tasks and optional commentaries about how to beat them easily.
Reckless
Monster & Co.
Description: A monster truck performing air trick in Stormx Arena's Playground. (east of New York)
Commentary: The arena is located north-east from the city. The StormX Arena Monster Truck marker is next to it. Don't start the event, but ride on the arena in the free roaming mode. Start performing stunts on the jump - more specifically, do rolls. Observe the marker in the upper left corner of the screen and activate the photo mode when the game considers a monster truck's trick to be completed. Take a picture of that moment.
French Kiss
Description: Fly through the Eiffel Tower Replica...head down! (Las Vegas)
Commentary: The Eiffel Tower Replica can be found in the center of the city, next to the main street running across the whole city. You should use a plane for this stunt. You should fly to the tower, turn around the machine and fly under the tower. Activate the photo mode when the action is confirmed. You can't be late - the plane can't fly from under the tower.
Over the Head
Description: Jump over a Ferrari with a Monster Truck.
Commentary: Invite another player into the game and ask him to use a Ferrari of any kind. Ride together near any jump (for example, the one near Salt Lake City). Use it to jump over his or her vehicle.
Top Notch
Description: Fly through the Notch on the West Mitten Butte. (near Off-Road HQ).
Commentary: West Mitten Butte is a huge unusually shaped rock located on some kind of barrow. There are a few similar rocks located near the Off-road HQ located in Monument Valley. The rock that you are looking for is presented in the picture 1 - this one is located a little bit to the north from the HQ. Fly between the narrower vertical parts and the main part of the rock - the picture 2 shows an example.
Not a Scratch
Description: Perform a close brake with another player... in a Monster Truck.
Commentary: Invite another player into the game and ask him or her to stop the vehicle. Accelerate with your Monster Truck and suddenly break without causing a collision. This challenge will probably require a few attempts. It is easier to do it if the second vehicle isn't moving.
Against the Flow
Description: Jump the North Woods Waterfall (north of New York) in a Powerboat.
Commentary: The North Woods forest is located north from New York and the White Mountains. The forest is marked on the world map. Enter a powerboat and start swimming down the river (to the north). Once you get close to the waterfall, accelerate with nitro and jump off. Activate the photo mode button while the boat remains in the air.
Like a Breeze
Description: Fly through the Wind Turbines near Big Bend (west of Dallas) with any Aerobatics plane.
Commentary: Numerous working turbines can be found west from Dallas. Fly through one of them (between its blades). You also have to perform a roll. The best way to do that is to perform this action first and then use LiveReplay option and go back to the moment when you were flying through the blades.
Sic Transit... (Vestige)
Description: Fly through the ruins North of Black Mount (east of Los Angeles) with any Aerobatics plane.
Commentary: The ruins are north from Black Mount, near a small water body. You have to fly between the ruined buildings which means that your altitude must be low. The picture above shows an example of when the picture can be taken.
King of the Hill
King of Egypt
Description: Yeah, you just need a Pyramid, to reach its top. (Las Vegas)
Commentary: The Luxor pyramid can be found in the very center of Las Vegas, next to one of the casinos. It is best to get close to it in a helicopter (you receive one for defeating the Off-Road master). Once you're above the pyramid, switch to any vehicle while in the air. Once you land, park the car near the top of the pyramid (an example is shown in the above picture).
King of the Plant
Description: Stand atop of the Nuclear Power Plant silo (west of Chicago) with a Monster Truck.
Commentary: You need a helicopter to complete this challenge. Use it to reach the nuclear power plant near the river west of Chicago. Fly to the giant chimney of the power plant, land on it, and switch to monster truck. Now, just take a picture of the monster truck.
King of the Rodeo
Description: Take your Monster Truck and tame the biggest cow, North of Dairyland. (north-west of Chicago).
Commentary: Reach the Dairyland location northwest of Chicago. Once again, you should use the helicopter. Find the giant cow from the picture 1. Fly towards it, carefully land on its head and switch to monster truck. Now you can activate the photo mode and take a picture (as shown in the picture 2)
King of the Peddle
Description: Overfly the PeddleWheel boat on Lake Superior (north-west of Chicago) head down at dawn with any plane.
Commentary: The paddle steamer can be found in the part of the lake presented in the picture 1. You also have to fly with your wheels up. Acrobatics planes are perfect for that. Start flying towards the paddle steamer, roll your machine 180 degrees and fly above the target (the picture 2). You can immediately activate the photo mode or use LiveReplay function.
King of the Graveyard
Description: Fly harder than those planes in Big Land, with any plane. (south-east of Los Angeles).
Commentary: The graveyard of old planes is located southeast of Los Angeles - it's near the Big Land Slalom test marker presented in the picture 1. Once you're there, switch to an agile plane for stunts. You must fly over the graveyard on low altitude.
King of the Valley
Description: Stand atop the highest Pole in Monument Valley (south of Off-Road HQ).
Commentary: You have to use a helicopter to complete this Photo Op. Examine the area far to the south from the Off-road HQ. The pole is presented in the picture above. Land on top of it and then take a picture.
King of Wall Street
Description: Wall Street? Wall ride... with a Monster Truck (Financial District/New York).
Commentary: This is a difficult Photo Op although you can complete it in any part of the Financial District (the western one) in New York. Use a helicopter or a plane to make things easier for you. Switch to a monster truck when you are still mid air and try to take a picture of the vehicle when it touches walls of the buildings. Use LiveReplay function if you aren't fast enough with activating the photo mode while your vehicle is "sliding" down a wall.
Weird
Home
Description: Reproduce a famous movie shot with the moon and... a bike, duh!
Commentary: The description of this Photo Op can be a little bit cryptic but the challenge itself is easy. Switch to any bike and perform a jump, e.g. from a ramp or a rooftop. Activate the photo mode when the bike is still in the air. In the photo mode, open the settings that allow you to change time of a day. Select midnight and place the camera in a such way that you would be able to see the moon. The picture above shows an example of a "complete" photo.
Hover-1
Description: Race in Long Island Speedrome (east of New York) on a Hovercraft, baby!
Commentary: In order to complete this challenge you need a Proto XT3 hovercraft - it is a reward for defeating the Freestyle category master. Reach the racing track east from the center of New York. The track is surrounded by a forest. Once you're on the speedrome, switch to the hovercraft and take a photo of the machine.
Sail High
Description: How far would a Jetsprint jump from an official Ski jump? (north-east of Freestyle HQ)
Commentary: You must reach the Ski Jump shown in the picture 1. It is neighboring Salt Lake City in the northern part of the map. Select a large jump in the facility. Use any vehicle to get to its top, switch to a Jetsprint boat and start sliding down. The flight won't be long, so activate the photo mode just when you go into the air (picture 2).
Wrecked Wheel
Description: Another Wrecked paddlewheel boat on the bank of Mississippi. (west of Chicago).
Commentary: This isn't a complicated challenge. Examine the river south-west from Chicago (Chicago Buoy Smashing can be started nearby). The ship wreckage you are looking for is near the shore (see the picture above).
Dino
Description: Even Dinos go green in South Pacific. (Los Angeles/Santa Monica).
Presidential Bath
Description: Sail the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, in Washington.
Commentary: This is a simple task. The Lincoln statue can be found in the center of Washington and there is a pool next to it. Fly above it with a plane and switch to any boat in order to land in the water.
Bottom Up
Description: Fly Inverted in the Grand Canyon (south-east of Las Vegas).
Commentary: You shouldn't have much trouble with this task. Once you reach Grand Kanyon, fly inside it and turn your machine upside down. The flight must take place on a low altitude. You should use a more agile plane for this stunt.
Un-conventional
Description: Bring your lil' Monster Truck to Los Angeles' Convention Center. (Downtown).
Commentary: Convention Center is one of the larger buildings in the Downtown district in Los Angeles - it is shown in the above picture. Park the monster truck, for example at the stairs that are leading to the center.
