How to use Mod-Kit Stations?

The only way of getting weapon modifications is by using Mod-Kit Stations - System Shock Remake: List of weapon modifications - Secrets and Collectibles - System Shock Remake Guide

The only way of getting weapon modifications is by using Mod-Kit Stations. Mods are paid for with credits, and make sure to often use recycling stations to have at least 25-30 on the ready always.

You can return to already visited stations e.g. if you hadn't had the credits or a matching weapon then. Once found, Mod-Kit Stations are marked on your map.

After purchasing an upgrade, you need to add it to your inventory and use it there so it is combined with your weapon. You cannot retrieve already installed upgrades, so don't get rid of modified weapons.

After an upgrade, some weapons may take additional space in the inventory. Keep this in mind if you're carrying a lot of items - it pays off to have a little time to think about what you want to remove.
