As soon as you reach the Neverwinter Woods, go to Van-Hyde (M8, Van-Hyde) and speak with him. During the conversation you will be told, that he is hunting and that he needs some assistance. After accepting the task, use the Search ability to find the bear tracks. The trail will lead you to its lair (M8, Bear Den). After entering the lair, head along the corridor to the main room of the cavern. Your task will be to kill the enormous bear, Steel-Toothe. Afterwards, head to the secret passage (M10,13). Behind the doors there will be a corpse, from which you will pick up a journal, which is required to open the secret doors in the Gilded Eye Chapterhouse (M10,14).
Reward: you will receive 300 gold, Ballistus crossbow and 1000 experience points.
