The following page of the Sons of the Forest guide answers the question of whether the developers plan to release the game on platforms other than PC.

Sons of the Forest is now available only on PC in Early Access. At the moment, the developers have not announced versions for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.

Given the high popularity of Sons of the Forest, it is possible that after the release of the full version of the game, the developers will decide to create a console port. The more so that the previous game of the series, The Forest, was once released on PS4.

So far, no VR support for PC has been announced either.
