How do I get better visas? Seven Game Guide

In Seven: The Days Long Gone, Visa Pills are unique objects that are connected to exploration of Peh island - How do I get better visas? - FAQ - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

In Seven: The Days Long Gone, Visa Pills are unique objects that are connected to exploration of Peh island. Owning them isn't absolutely necessary but lack of these visas can cause you a lot of problems.

Visas have a form of pills that Teriel needs to swallow. Each visa is connected to one of the seven levels and they allow you to explore the island freely. For example, a Visa Pill level 1 gives you access to all locations of the first sector (there are seven in total) but in order to go through one of the main entrances to the second sector, you will need to find a Visa Pill level 2. The picture above shows you all sectors marked on the island's map.

Finding Visa Pills isn't mandatory, HOWEVER:

  1. An attempt to go through a security checkpoint without the right visa can end with your character being attacked which also raises the alarm. Checkpoints (e.g. the one in Lewmer that leads to level 2) can be avoided but this is rather tedious.
  2. Even if you avoid a checkpoint successfully, you can still be stopped by a patrol and asked to show your visa. Lack of it also leads to a fight (this will also happen if you start running).

This means that you should try to get new visas which in turn will make exploration of the island easier for you. Below, you can find the ways of acquiring them.

Note - Chapter in progress.

You get this pill automatically after reaching the penal colony. You can't miss it.

Level 2

This pill can be found in a few ways - How do I get better visas? - FAQ - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

This pill can be found in a few ways:

  1. Use a vending machine in Lewmer and buy it for 125 auryte.
  2. Find Suspicious Guy merchant in Lewmer (the picture above) and buy the pill for 112,5 auryte. Warning - the shop may be raided by soldiers after one of your purchases. You must escape. From now on you can't visit Suspicious Guy. Don't buy anything from him if you only care for the visa.
  3. Start "Pulling Strings" side quest in Lewmer. You must complete its first part in which you have to steal visas from a warehouse in Port Horizon. Infiltration of that place may be difficult without a proper disguise which means that this way of acquiring a Visa Pill level 2 may not be a good idea (the description of that quest can be found in the separate page of this guide).

Level 3

This pill can be bought from one of the vending machines located near the security checkpoint level 3 - How do I get better visas? - FAQ - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

This pill can be bought from one of the vending machines located near the security checkpoint level 3. This visa costs 250 auryte. If you went from Lewmer to Mortbane then you can come across one of these vending machines after passing a group of bandits who prepared an ambush for the hero.

Level 4

The pill can be bought from one of the vending machines located near the security checkpoints 4, e.g. the one that stands on the way to Warden's Hold. This visa costs 350 auryte.

Level 5

This pill can be bought from the vending machine that stands near the security checkpoint 05 that separates zone 5 from the rest of the island. This visa costs 500 auryte.

Level 6

This pill can be bought from the vending machine that stands near the security checkpoint 06 - How do I get better visas? - FAQ - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

This pill can be bought from the vending machine that stands near the security checkpoint 06. Zone 6 is approached from south-west. This visa costs 600 auryte.

Level 7

Visa Pill for zone 7 cant be bought from any of the vending machines - How do I get better visas? - FAQ - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

Visa Pill for zone 7 can't be bought from any of the vending machines. This zone consists mainly of excavation sites. The area reserved for workers can be entered from west. Reach the booth presented in the picture and buy Excavation Worker outfit for 600 auryte (you can also try to steal it). If you have a Technomagi soldier outfit then, e.g. reach zone 7 from east and go near the bridge with a laser barrier. Start jumping on stone ledges. This allows you to reach security checkpoint 07.

An alternative method to acquire visas

You can also get visas of higher levels in an alternative way, by cloning them from characters staying on Peh - How do I get better visas? - FAQ - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

You can also get visas of higher levels in an alternative way, by cloning them from characters staying on Peh. Unfortunately, this method is quite risky, as it works only after stunning an opponent. Always begin by using the detection mode. When you move the cursor over a person, you will learn, above all else, which visas the character has (as in the example in the picture - the technomagi has visas 05, 06 and 07). If possible, choose technomagi and biomants as your targets, as they usually have higher-level visas.

The character whose visa you intend to clone must be silently stunned first - How do I get better visas? - FAQ - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

The character whose visa you intend to clone must be silently stunned first. Select fists from the drop-down menu, so that Teriel will stop using melee or ranged weapon. Approach the target from the back and perform a knockout. This action will only be successful if the the opponent wasn't significantly stronger than the main character. You can now hold the interaction button and choose the option 'Clone Visa" (as seen in the above screenshot). Afterwards, move away from the area before the stunned character wakes up.
