Rice - this is one of the items that can be used to heal the characters in the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. On this page of our guide we explain how to get rice and how to renew its stocks for free.

Rice cannot be found in the game or buoght at the merchant. The only way to get rice is from Divine Child of Rejuvenation.

Divine Child of Rejuvenation is located in the Senpou Temple, but you cannot reach it thanks to the usual exploration of the temple and its surroundings. Instead, you have make progress in the main story of the game, return to Main Hall in the Senpou Temple use the bell and go into the illusion, in which you defeat the Folding Screen Monkeys. We have described this, in particular, on the page How to find and kill the Folding Screen Monkeys? in a separate chapter of our guide.

Killing all four monkeys ends the illusion and you will find yourself in a completely new area with a new sculptor idol - the Inner Sanctum. The child is in the main building.

You will receive the rice automatically during the first conversation with the child. You can now place it on the skill bar. Rice works similarly to Pellets - it / rice can gradually recover lost health points.

Important limitations related to this item is that you only have one rice stack. Its stock is not restored automatically by taking a rest. If you want to renew rice stocks you have to return to the Divine Child of Rejuvenation and after initializing a new chat ask the child for more rice. At such a step, it is necessary to decide before the big journey or before the fight with a new boss.
