From this chapter of the guide, the player will learn how to play Sea of Thieves completely for free. You'll be able to test the game first and then make a possible decision to purchase the game or an Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Sea of Thieves is the first premiere production for Xbox One and PC Windows that appeared in the Xbox Game Pass, allowing you to fully enjoy all of the features of the game for a small monthly fee - similarly to the Origin platform. If you sign up for the first time, you can take advantage of a free 14-day trial period - afterward you will need to pay a monthly subscription fee.

To sing up for the Xbox Game Pass go to "https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass", click on the "play for free for 14 days" and follow the instructions on the screen.

Note!

Even if you choose 14-day trial period, you will still need to enter your payment card details. If you don't want your account to be automatically charged after this period, you must cancel the subscription renewal before the end of the trial period!

Cancelling the subscription

To cancel the Xbox Game Pass subscription, head to the Microsoft website, go to account and select: view Microsoft account. Afterward, go to the services and subscription tab, click on the Manage button next to Xbox Game Pass and turn off automatic renewal.
