How to start A Test of Faith side quest?
To start searching for dinosaur bones you must start the mission called A Test of Faith. To start this mission, you have to go to the south-east of the gang's headquarters at Horseshoe Overlook.
After talking to Deborah McGuiness, you can start finding Dinosaur Bones.
The first set of Bones
The first bone can be found west of Latneck Station, right next to the railway tracks.
These bones are located near the railway tracks. They are very well visible in the grass.
The second set of Bones
The second set of bones can be found on the eastern side of Lemoyne.
These bones are in the sand. To examine them you have to jump from road to sand and approach them.
The third set of Bones
These bones can be found on the eastern side of Lemoyne, right next to Dewberry Creek.
The bones are located between large stones.
The fourth set of Bones
These bones can be found in the southern part of The Heartlands.
These bones are located between the mountains. Do not jump from above to examine the bone. Go around.
The fifth set of Bones
These bones can be found in the southern part of The Heartlands, near the drilling tower.
To get these bones you have to go down the ladder into the hole. There you will find dinosaur bones.
If you fall, instead of going down the ladder, the game will only take a few points of life.
The sixth bone
These bones are in the northern part of New Hanover. Open the map - this place is right above the "O" letter.
These bones are buried under the ground - look around carefully.
The seventh bone
These bones are in the eastern part of the map, north from Van Horn.
The bones are hidden among trees. We have marked them in the picture above.
The eighth bone
These bones are located in the southern part of Annesburg region, right above Elysian Pool.
The bones are on the northern stone ledge. To get there, you have to reach the top of the mountain and then go down carefully. Thanks to that you will reach the bones without any problems.
Jumping down on the ledge can cost you a lot of health.
The ninth bone
These bones are located in the eastern part of Roanoke Valley.
The bones aren't covered by anything. They lie on top of the mountain, near the cliff.
The tenth bone
These bones are located in the place between Annesburgh and O'Creagh's Run.
This bone lies on top of a cliff. Reach the top, the bone is in grass.
The eleventh bone
You can find this bone by moving west from The Loft.
This is another bone found on top of a cliff. Reach the top, the bone is in grass.
The twelfth bone
This bone is found near Grizzlies East. This part of the map is filled with mountains which makes this bone the most difficult to obtain.
Climb one of the mountains. Then, you have to slowly slide down on the next rock and then jump on top of it. Thanks to that you will reach the bone.
Sliding down a steep hill will lead to your death.
The thirteenth bone
This bone is found in Ambarino region.
They are between the rocks (see the picture above).
The fourteenth bone
This bone is between Baccus Station and Fort Wallace.
The bones are atop the large stone, the one on top of the hill.
The fifteenth bone
This bone is located between Window Rock and Fort Wallace.
Reach the top of the mountain by riding on your horse. The path presented in the picture above is the best for that.
To get this bone you have to jump down on the stone ledge. Do this slowly, you don't want to fall down.
The sixteenth bone
This bone is located west from Cumberland Forest.
The bone is located on the hillside, near the cliff.
The seventeenth bone
This bone is located north from Valentine, near Dakota River.
The bone is attached to a rock.
The eighteenth bone
They are located north from Valentine, near Dakota River.
Search for them in the grass.
They're located south-east from Valentine, near Dakota River.
They're attached to a rock. Get near to explore them.
They're located north-west from Wallace Staton.
Get inside the cave. They're buried in the end of the cave.
They are located north from Big Valley.
They're on the mountain's slope. Be careful, while reaching for them.
