QUBE 2 - General Tips Q.U.B.E. 2 Guide & Walkthrough

Last update: 05 April 2018

Below you can find general tips that might come in handy during your adventure in the Q.U.B.E. 2 and in the acquisition of all of the achievements.

  1. After getting into a new room, look around the area to locate all of the important elements. Afterward, think about what you can do with them and how they can be linked together.
  2. Remember that on each separate panel or console you can create only a single cube. If you activate a second cube at the same spot, the first one will disappear.
  3. Remember that you have the option to remove cubes. The elimination of green cubes is associated with one of the achievements that you can get in the Q.U.B.E. 2.
  4. Green cubes can be moved and held by orange cubes, or knocked upwards by blue cubes. Green cubes can also be caught (red pole) or pushed (blue pole) by the magnet. You can also pour gasoline on them or set them on fire.
  5. Blue cubes are used as trampolines and can send your character up into the air in order to reach an elevation. Blue cubes can also be used to knock green cubes up into the air.
  6. Orange cubes are used as platforms, blockades or shelters from wind coming from the fans. They can also move green cubes.
  7. Large buttons are used to activate additional elements, such as cranes, stairs or elevators. They can be activated by your character once you stand on them. To activate the buttons you will need either the green cubes or balls. The buttons remain active for as long as they are pressed - once you remove the weight of them, the elements attached to them will return to their positions.
  8. Movable walls can be used as platforms or bridges, but they can also function as a catapult. If you stand on one end of the wall and pick up the other side, your character will be launched into the air. The walls can also throw green cubes, provided that they are placed in the right places.
  9. Magnets have two poles: red and blue. The red pole attracts elements and the blue one repels them. For instance: if you catch a green cube with a red pole, it will remain at its position until you decide to delete it or change the pole to blue.
  10. Some of the doors can only be opened by hitting it with a green cube. In order to do that, you must put into motion with the help of a blue or orange cube, the wall or the magnet. In the Q.U.B.E. 2 you will also stumble upon doors that can only be opened by fire. If you run into such a situation, you will need to pour some oil on the element and then ignite it.
  11. Most of the achievements in the Q.U.B.E. 2 can be acquired through regular play. The only exception is the achievement that requires you to launch the character high into the air with the help of the fans. If you want to acquire both of the achievements for completing the game, you will be forced to complete it again and pick the alternative ending.
