Workshop
You can open the door if you have 13 mechanics or find proper key (06). The room is guarded by Giant ice troll, two ice trolls and winter wolf. In the hiding place in the corner of the room you will find Sigil of the sword.
From the table take seal needed to open the door (07).

Go inside and pull the lever. You will get to secret room in south-eastern part of the map.
Secret room
Ypu can get here by using a cart (04). In the chest you will find sigil of the shield and two durgan iron ingots.
Dead dwarf
Search the body of the warrior. Take the key to workshop (01). After that a group of enemies will appear. Watch out for enemies when you will go back.
Door
You can open it by using seal (01).
Hall of Remembrance
There is 3 holes in the wall on the right. Insert Sigil of the helmet (03) to the first hole, Sigil of the shield (05) to the second and Sigil of the sword to the third hole. Take the mace from the table. You will have to defeat a group of battery defenders before the door.

M11 Stairs to the Foundry.

The above map presents The Mines, i.e. second floor of the Durgan's Battery. Similar to the previous location, your main goal here is to simply get to the lower floor. Unfortunately, it won't be so easy this time, as you will be encountering a lot stronger enemies in this location. If you want to get to the lower floor, you should read the description of The White Forge quest.

7. Door

You can open it with the help of the seal, that can be found in the workshop (M10,1).

The seal must be placed in a special opening on the left side of the door. Afterwards, you must do the following:

  • Turn the seal two times, counter-clockwise and then press the seal.
  • Turn the seal once, clockwise, and press it again.
  • Turn the seal two times, counter-clockwise and then press the seal.
  • Turn the seal three times, clockwise and press it again. The door will be opened.

8. Hall of Remembrance

There are three holes in the wall on the right side of the room. You have to place an appropriate sigil in each one of them. All of them can be found scattered on this level of the mine.

  • Place the sigil of the helmet to the first opening (M10,3);
  • Place the sigil of the shield in the second opening (M10,5);
  • Place the sigil of the sword in the third opening (M10,1).

Afterwards, if you pick up the club from the table, you won't automatically activate a set of traps, which would otherwise kill you in seconds. You can now head towards the exit, where a small group of enemies will await you.

Types of enemies and monsters in The Mines

Battery siren - a strong variant of wraith. The enemy focuses on weakening your party.

Giant ice troll - Basically a stronger version of a regular troll, with larger health pool and higher damage.
