How to hide a helmet in Monster Hunter World?

The game has an option that lets you play without a helmet.

You spent a lot of time in the character creation and you want to see your avatar's face during the game. However, almost every armor in the game covers your face, even during the cutscenes.

There is a simple solution to that. Open the menu - remember that opening it won't pause the game so it is better to hide a helmet when you are somewhere safe. Then, go to "Game Settings". There, you can find "Head Armor" with three available options: "Show", "Hide" and "Hide in Cutscenes Only".

Choose the option that interests you the most. Hiding a helmet has no effect on your character's defense and bonuses offered by your currently equipped head gear. This option is purely cosmetic.
