Middle-earth: Shadow of War features missions known as Shadows of the Past - here, you play as Celebrimbor and you have to recreate his heroic acts. These missions are rather easy to complete but you can also try to win a trophy: bronze (for completing a mission), silver (usually you have some additional restrictions, e.g. you can't use your sword) and gold (you must complete a mission within a time limit or finish an additional objective). On this page of our guide we described all Celembrimbor missions.

Aphadad

Objectives:

1. Defeat 10 uruks.
2. 4/4 Caragor stealth kills from above.
3. Avoid detection.

Reward:

1. Bronze: +500 silver coins
2. Silver: +1 skill point
3. Gold: Carved Warrior Gem

Note: A simple mission. You have to focus on staying hidden and eliminating your enemies one by one.

Abgen

Objectives:

1. Defeat 35 orcs by using fire.
2. Complete the mission within a time limit (1:50)
3. Kill the captain.

Reward:

1. Bronze: +500 silver coins
2. Silver: +1 skill point
3. Gold: Carved Wealth Gem

Note: A difficult mission - you don't have much time and you have to control your Drake really well. Focus mainly on the captain but you will probably have to replay this mission a few times.

Cannas

Objectives:

1. Defeat uruks by using Bird of Prey
2. Kill 3/3 uruks with a headshot.
3. Complete the mission within a time limit (0:40)
4. Defeat 40 ghuls.
5. Use only 5 arrows.
6. Complete the mission within a time limit (0:30)
7. Bronze: +800 silver coins
8. Silver: +1 skill point
9. Gold: Polished Warrior Gem
10. 5/5 Caragors defeated with arrows.
11. Don't get hit.
12. 3/3 Caragors defeated with a headshot.
13. Bronze: +800 silver coins
14. Silver: +1 skill point
15. Gold: Polished Life Gem
16. 5/5 Olog-hai killed with a stealth attack.
17. Avoid detection.
18. Kill only the marked targets.
19. Bronze: +800 silver coins
20. Silver: +1 skill point
21. Gold: Polished Life Gem
22. Dominate the orc Warchief.
23. Perform an execution on the Warchief while you are on a Caragor.
24. Raise your Hitstreak to 25.

29. Catch and dominate the captain.
30. Hit 10 orcs by using a single explosion from a barrel or a campfire.

35. 10/10 perfect counters performed.
36. Raise your Hitstreak to 30.

65. 15/15 orcs killed by an explosion.

Curu

Note: A very easy mission - keep rolling and shoot beasts in their heads when you get a chance.

Hannas

Note: A difficult task - you must avoid being detected by the other orcs' detection. You can always, e.g. lure your enemies by using your bow and then kill your targets.

Ancient Warchief: The Champion

Note: Try to raise your Hitstreak to 25 before the Warchief appears. Then, you should try to mount a Caragor and perform an execution on that Warchief - domination is just a formality.

Ancient Warchief: The Grog Hoarder

Objectives:

Note: First, you should focus on hitting orcs with an explosion. Then, you must dominate the captain.

Raith

Objectives:

Note: An easy mission - focus on counters and you will get gold.

Ancient Warchief: The Fear Eater

Objectives:

Note: First, focus on assassinations - eliminate your enemies, e.g. from above. Then, you must defeat the Warchief but before you do that, you should kill his bodyguards.

Tirith

Note: Focus on the Riders and don't allow them to pass. Then, you must free Drakes and try to kill the Graug as fast as you can.

Ancient Warchief: The Iron Mount

Note: Free a Caragor and start performing executions. Then, you should fight with the captain and dominate him.

Mabad

Objectives:

Note: A rather difficult task - you must focus mainly on executions. You must also remember that you can kill orcs with headshots.

Bellas

Note: First, you should focus on explosions - catching up with kills is easy. Then, attack the Drake.
