Double click on a staff (on the left side of the room).

Take the silver platter and use the bandage with the hook. Put into the incense bowl the bloody bandage. Use the incense stick with glowing eyes and put the stick into the incense bowl. Hang the incense bowl on the hook.

Talk with the staff and cast an activation spell into the darkness. Use option 'free the staff' and end the conversation.
