The following page of our Medievil game guide includes a walkthrough of The Time Device level. Sir Dan was close to Zarok, but as usual he had to "screw up" something and get into the big time machine. Dan will have to solve several puzzles to get out of this place and thwart another mischievous plan of the antagonist.

Walkthrough
Pull the lever, kill the already known to you Boiler Guards and flying enemies. Go left and take out the enemies. Now jump over the clocks, avoiding the hands of the clock and the flying saw clock. Collect the shield and Time Rune. Open the door with the lever and head back to the beginning. Bounce off the "brains" to get to the big clock, use the Rune and move forward. Check the "time" on the clock that rolls down as soon as you approach the passage - each time you start the level, the time will be different. Now set this time on the large clock using the two buttons to open the passage.
Go to the new zone and beware of sharp elements of the mechanism. Go upstairs and then to the right. Avoid the clock and shoot down the eyes. Take the Chaos Rune. Get back to the device with the blades and you will soon reach another passage with saw clocks and eyes. Go to the pipe to reach the area with the lasers. Arrange them in such a way to close the circuit. This will allow you to collect the Earth Rune and a Health Bottle. You will later come back here to collect the Chalice.
When you get the rune, you can enter the SECRET area - perform a jump with X+R1 to reach a platform with 3 chests. You will also get back tot he beginning of the level. Go right and check the time needed to open the door. The force field will now be off, allowing you to collect a Health Bottle. Now go to the gate with the Boilers, read the book and use the Rune. You will reach the area with the train.
Use another Rune to open the passage to the train. Position it towards the open gate by pushing the wooden handle. Get on the train and it will take you to the new zone. Kill Boilers, collect the gold and the Moon Rune and jump back onto the train. Open another passage and go there. Kill enemies and pull both of the levers. Go back to collect the Chalice (where the lasers where) and use the train to leave the area.
In the Hall of Heroes you will get a bottle of Health, as well as two trophies -"King of Cups" and "Healthiest Man Alive - Er Dead".
