This page of the trophy guide to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy features a detailed description of the Eat It, Rodent trophy. This trophy is obtained by winning a bet against Rocket in the first chapter of the campaign. We explain how to get more points than Rocket.

This trophy can be earned during chapter 1. At some point, a point counter will appear on the screen and you'll learn from Rocket that he hacked the Star-Lord's visor without permission. You will enter the competition and in order to beat Rocket and get the achievement, you will have to collect more points than your challenger.

Points are earned for destroying parasite nests. Your visor can help you locate them. Each time you use the visor, Rocket will call you out for "cheating" but you can just ignore his comments.

Interestingly enough, Rocket can also cheat when it comes to destroying some of the nests. You can try to limit this problem by constantly being near him and keeping him in your field of vision. Unfortunately, in some sections, you will become separated and you won't be able to completely prevent him from cheating.

The most important thing is to efficiently find and shoot at nests from a long distance after entering each new location. You will find most of the nests in the central area with the cage from the above screenshot, which you will enter after solving the puzzle that involves the eye of the giant statue. As soon as possible, start shooting at them to overtake Rocket and destroy more nests than him.

The competition is theoretically run to 50 points, but there's a good chance you won't manage to collect this many. The only thing that matters is to have more points than Rocket at the end of the competition - always try to have a few more points than your companion.

The bet ends once you complete the escape section and reach the room with the mysterious monster (pictured above). This is where the game will tally up the score and reward you with the trophy if you managed to get more points.
