The following walkthrough describes which dialog options to choose, how to eliminate the Magus' minions and defeat the final boss of the game.

Phase 1 - the first option and the first group of opponents
The Magus is the final boss in the game, and you will face him immediately after being promoted to Chapter 16.
He is a very unusual opponent because you won't fight Magnus in a regular fight, in which you would have to deplete his energy bar gradually. This encounter is about choosing the right dialog options, getting rid of common opponents, and completing QTE.
During the fight with the Magus, you have to select the correct dialog option three times. This is required to complete the finale, and the heroes' goal is to provoke the Magus.
With the first choice, choose the right dialog option - Slow Clap.
The game won't let you make the next choice immediately. First, you have to complete other tasks. The first is reaching the force field created by Nikki. Run without stopping, and you will have time to avoid death before the planet launched by the boss reach you.
The next step to defeat a group of opponents called by the Magus. They are not difficult to defeat, and you should rely on area attacks instead of aiming at a single enemy. Two things to remember when fighting:
- Avoid the Magus bombing - As in some previous battles, the places where the missiles land are marked with red circles. Dash or run away from them.
- Stay away from the edge of the arena- Losing your footing and falling doesn't mean you're going to die instantly, but you're going to lose some health.
Phase 2 - the second option and the second group of opponents
After the fight is over, you will resume banter with the Magus. With the second choice, decide on right dialog option - Badger Him.
Just like in the previous phase, you have to reach shelter before the planet hits the arena and then defeat a group of weak opponents. Both these scenes will not surprise you with anything new.
Phase 3 - the third option and QTE sequences
You have the last third choice to make. Choose left dialog option - Provoke the Magus.
At the very end, there are several QTEs - finishing the sequence traps the Magus in the stone.
First, you have to press the indicated buttons at the proper times, i.e. when the shrinking circle gets inside the smaller circle and turns green. The sequence is X/A, Triangle/Y, Circle/B, and again Triangle/Y.
In addition, you need to mash triangle/Y to wrestle with the Magus.
The correctly executed sequence will allow you to advance to the campaign to the epilogue, in which there are no more battles.
