In order to unlock this mission, you must have Gas Guzzler rank and upgrades bought for knuckledusters, jacket and wrist armor.
Before starting this mission, make sure that your vehicle is durable enough, this will make the mission much easier. Equip your car in the best equipment possible and drive towards the Gastown.
Your first objective is defeating the Stank Gum. It's not easy - a bomb has been planted on your vehicle and you have a limited amount of time to destroy enemy vehicle. However, you will have unlimited amounts of Thunderpoon, so you can shoot as much as you want. Try to shoot Stank Gum's vehicle as many times as possible at the beginning of the race (he has the largest vehicle and starts the race from the first position). Each lap will be harder (more traps on the track), during the race not only the enemies will interrupt you, but various traps, like mines and flames, as well.
Driving carefully is the key to success. Destruction of Magnum Opus results in automatic mission failure and forces you to restart the race. Because of that, since the beginning of the race you should be focusing on Stank Gum - the shorter you will drive, the lesser the chance for falling out of the track and damaging the vehicle. Use the boost carefully, hitting a wall will be very expensive. Remember about using two shortcuts (they are marked with red color), the smoke found there regenerates some of vehicle's resistance.
In summary: upgrade your vehicle to the maximum, this will definitely make the mission easier. During the race, drive carefully, use the boost only on safe, straight parts of the road. Quickly focus on Stank Gum and shoot his vehicle whenever it is possible (you don't need to be very close, shooting the Thunderpoon is possible also from distance). Watch out for obstacles, especially for mines, and try to ignore other opponents - shoot them only if Stank Gum is out of your reach.
After destroying the Stank Gum's vehicle, a cutscene will occur. Once it is over, you will have to fight Tenderloin. Since Tenderloin is very fast and can avoid your attacks with ease, your regular hits won't be effective. The key to success is dodging and attacking whenever she charges - it gives you time to perform at least one hit. Other opportunities will appear after a successful block - some of Tenderloin's attacks can be blocked in the usual way and then counterattacked (few hits), which will stun your opponent. Winning the battle will trigger another cutscene and another duel.
The duel with Scrotus is similar to the previous one. Most of all, you must remember about dodging, because the boss is very effective in using his weapon. Also, quickly eliminate few weaker enemies in order to fill the fury meter - only after that it is a good idea to attack Scrotus. You will be even more effective when you pick up one of the weapons found on the arena. More or less after half of the battle Scrotus will start charging. It's a moment that you should use quickly - position yourself in front of the red barrels, after you jump away the boss will fall right into the center of the explosion. It is a good tactic, the explosion will deal large amounts of damage to Scrotus. Use the same tactics till the end of the battle: dodges and hits with the weapon will quickly lead to defeating the boss.
Once the battle ends, pick up the weapon and go towards the marker, defeating two opponents on your way. After walking below, replenish your health and use the water container. You will be attacked by some new enemies. Then, walk to the last room, where you will be attacked by Scrotus again.
The battle is similar to the previous one - use dodges and the weapons lying on the arena. It is wise to attack weaker opponents and load the fury. If you have trouble with their numbers, keep the group between Max and Scrotus, the attacks of the boss will deal damage to his colleagues. This time, a longer cutscene will occur after the battle and the mission will end. Leave the underground and other missions will unlock.
