In the Buzzard's Belly | Wasteland missions Mad Max Guide

You will receive this mission in Gutgash's Stronghold, after completing A piece tougher story mission. The woman (Hope) in the cell is giving it to you. Completing it becomes possible after unlocking the passage to the Dead Barrens during the Black Magic mission.

The passage is hidden behind a container.

Go to the territories on the north of the map. There, drive the car into the tunnel. When Max will mention an ambush, find a container marked with "X" letter on your right. Open it with the harpoon.

Don't lose the track of the enemies in the dark tunnel.

A group of strong enemies will wait for you on the other side. As opponents' attacks are very powerful, carefully parry enemy attacks and perform counterattacks. Collect some Scrap and go through the container on the left to the next part of the tunnel. Here you will have another round with enemies, this time joined by few quick enemies that are able to perform quick jumps. Similarly to before, you must be very careful and perform quick counters and executions whenever it is possible.

The upgrade can be found at the end.

Finally, use Jimmy bar to open the large container. Behind it you will find your objective. Walk towards it from the other side and you will find an upgrade to the sniper rifle. This will end the mission.
