Lost Ark features some Trade Skills related to resource gathering, like mining, hunting and foraging. On this page you'll learn how to use these skills to sell the gathered resources, process them and convert them into gold.
You can, of course, earn gold with Trade Skills. When mining raw materials you can obtain resources of three different levels and - later on - unique materials. Any of these can be sold on the market for gold. To do so you must open the Market (Alt Y) and add your offer, set the price while remembering the deposit fee (refunded to you after the sale) and the 5% tax.
If you want to earn money that way you should prioritize one of your Trade Skills as a primary skill. Which one should you choose? You can refer to market prices. Mushrooms and flowers are usually expensive as they're used to craft potions and battle items.
The second option of making money is combining gathering with crafting. At higher Stronghold levels you unlock the ability of discovering new recipes at the lab. You can also purchase meal recipes from the Crafting Recipe Exchanger at the Stronghold. You can check the current places at the Market - the most interesting items can be added to the Interest List by clicking the pin icon.
You can strike a business by buying materials at the market, crafting potions / battle items and then selling them at a higher price. This requires good calculations though, as the proceeds won't be too high and the prices change very frequently. You must also pay gold to craft many of the items in question.
