Abyssal Dungeon is one of the weekly activities in Lost Ark. On this page, you will find out what Abyssal Dungeons are, what rewards they offer, and what they look like.
What are Abyssal Dungeons?
Abyssal Dungeons are special challenges that are modified story quests. To unlock the next ones, you need to raise your ilvl level and complete the indicated quests of the main story. You can't enter them alone - a team is required (Matchmaking is available). Also, you can't heal yourself with potions (F1) or change gear/skills doing them.
What sets Abyssal Dungeon apart from other activities is that you can only take part in it once a week(the more levels you unlock, the more times you can do Abyssal Dungeon in a week). Additionally, they have some of the best rewards of all activities (amount/value, impact on character development).
What further distinguishes Abyssal Dungeons from other dungeons is the difficulty level. On each level, you will face bosses that have specific features and mechanics. You will receive a message before each special event, but reading the dungeon guide is crucial before starting it. It's also a good idea to assemble a team and make sure each member knows and understands the basics of completing each level.
Rewards in Abyssal Dungeons
When it comes to Abyssal Dungeon, don't ignore weekly rewards. You will find:
- Accessories,
- Ability Stones,
- Engraving Recipe,
- Gold.
Although the above rewards are useful and valuable, the most important are the special items (varying depending on the continent) used to craft a unique gear (Abyssal). To do this, look for the Abyss Trade and Craft Abyss Equipment with the sword icon on the map.
For Tier 1, these are Knigt's Oath and Elemental Stones. You can exchange them for accessories and armor with random stats within a given range. This is the main way to raise ilvl right after Honing.
