Most of the cards available in Legends of Runeterra have keywords that trigger specific effects when certain requirements are met. It should also be noted that some units may have more than 1 keyword. At the beginning of your adventure with Legends of Runeterra it may seem a bit complicated so it's worth taking some time to familiarize yourself with this system. Allegiance

The unit you summon will receive a certain bonus if the card at the very top of your deck corresponds to a certain region. For example, if you use a unit from Demacia, the card at the very top of the deck must also come from Demacia.

Attack

The effect is activated during the attack round when the unit attacks. For example, Elise calls the 1/1 spider during the attack.

Double Strike allows a unit to deal combat damage twice during combat - once during the Quick Attack step and once during the standard attack step.

Important! Damage dealt during the Quick Attack step is resolved before entering the standard attack step, meaning units with Double Attack or Quick Attack can destroy blockers or remove Barriers without receiving damage in retaliation.

It means the unit with the highest number of attack points (highest power). Ties are broken by:

  • Highest health.
  • Then, highest cost.

Remove a unit from combat. Stunned unit cannot attack or block for the rest of the round.

Important! Units with Challenger keyword can draw the Stunned units into battle.
