5 tips to win fights easily in Kingdom Hearts 3 Kingdom Hearts III Guide and Walkthrough

Fight, fight, fight and a cutscene -> This basically sums up many stages in Kingdom Hearts 3. Fortunately, the producers succeeded in making the fights very smooth and exciting. We've prepared a guide with some tips, which will help you to win every battle!

#1 Guarding and dodging is fundamental

By pressing the right button (square on PS4), you'll block an enemy attack. Do it at the right time, and you'll completely negate the damage. Pressing the block button while you're moving will allow the controlled character to perform a dodge roll. Later in the game, you'll also unlock glide - be sure to use these abilities to avoid unnecessary damage.

#2 Additional abilities are very helpful

The creators made the combat very dynamic and full of special abilities. Formchanges allows you to extend your combos, unlock new moves and transform your keyblade into a different weapon. Remember, you can choose which Formchange you want to use (by pressing L2 on PS4). If you pick the wrong ability, you can always cancel it by using a finisher. After completing Olympus, you'll be able to use your first Link Summon from the command menu - it's a useful feature which will also restore your HP after choosing it.

#3 Become a Master Chef

After unlocking Remy's restaurant, you will be able to cook. Prepared dishes make the characters stronger and give you various buffs. Eating a Full Course will give you even greater statistic boost. You can eat the dishes by choosing them from the item menu.

#4 Remember about new abilities and equipment

During the hours playing Kingdom Hearts 3, you'll unlock various abilities and some new equipment. Try to check them and equip them regularly. It's worth exploring the worlds very thoroughly because many chests are very well hidden. Don't forget to refill your healing and MP restoring items.

#5 Maybe it's time to level up?

Sometimes you may encounter additional challenges or enemies who might be too strong for the current level of your party. Remember that you can always go back to another world and fight with Heartless or Nobodies to gain some experience. This will make the fights easier!
