On this page of the Kena Bridge of Spirits guide, you will learn how to easily and quickly defeat the next boss in the game, the Shrine Guardian. You'll encounter him at the end of Taro's Regret main mission.

Shrine Guardian is a big opponent who can pose a serious challenge. It's not only problematic on its own, it's also often accompanied by other enemies.

The Shrine Guardian has a few weak spots. The first one is easily noticeable as it's located on the boss' head, but the remaining ones can be found on its back. It's a good idea to shoot it in the head immediately after the battle starts, dealing serious damage and making it drop Courage.

In the meantime, watch out for the regular enemies. They don't deal much damage, but they can be seriously disruptive. You need to carefully watch the Shrine Guardian's location, as it can cover a lot of distance with a lunge.

The boss usually attacks with a two-strike combo. It has a pretty decent range, so use the shield if you know you won't be able to dodge the second blow.

The Shrine Guardian can jam its hands into the ground and start creating flowers underneath your character, damaging you if you touch them. Avoid them, then use the Rot action on the Guardian as soon as you're safe. The boss can't move when using this attack, and the flower on its back blooms. After using the Rot action on its back, use Pulse to deal massive damage.

Once you destroy the flower on its back, you'll be able to stun the boss with Rot. It's very helpful, making it easier to hit the boss' weak spots for heavy damage.

Remember, you have two healing items at your disposal and they should come in handy during the fight.
