Secrets list
There are 6 secrets in The Tower mission in the Lockdown chapter:

The Banished audio log - Harbinger
You can get the audio log soon after you get to the Tower and lower the big gate. After dealing with the nearest opponents, reach the area from the picture and go to the right.
The secret is in one of the containers marked with a large red logo.
Mjolnir Armory
To get the secret, you need to go to the back of the Tower before you activate the gravity elevator leading into the Tower. This area is near the helipad from the above picture. Later, enemy reinforcements will land here.
Examine the area under the landing pad (by going from the left side) to find a locker with a cosmetic item on the rocks.
Spartan Core 1
To get the secret, you need to explore the area under the Tower before you activate the gravity elevator leading into the Tower.
There are several containers here, some with supplies. The core is in the one marked in the picture.
UNSC audio log - What Was Inside
This secret is found inside the Tower, specifically on one of its lower levels. As you follow the red corridors, check out the small side areas - use the scanner and listen to the sounds made by the collectible. You can get the secret before facing Chak 'Lok.
Spartan Core 2
This secret is found inside the Tower, namely one floor above the floor with the audio log described above. Check the entire floor thoroughly before you use the last stairs. You'll come across a chest with a core. You can get the secret before facing Chak 'Lok.
Skull - Iwhbyd
The Skull is a very difficult find if you try to get it in the early stages of the campaign - it's on the roof of the Tower. Unfortunately, there is no path leading there. You will have to deal with a long and complicated climb.
Before you attempt to get the skull, try to unlock the Quickshot skill for the rope launcher - it costs 2 Spartan cores. It reduces the launchere's cooldown by 40%. It's very helpful in climbing.
We recommend getting the skull after completing The Tower main mission. Getting it before infiltrating the Tower isn't a good idea, because there will be many enemies in the area who can attack you on sight.
There's also an alternative way to get to the Skull - we've described it at the bottom of the page. It becomes possible after making enough progress in the story.
Start with setting up in front of the tower. See picture 1 to reference the best starting point for the climb. We've highlighted the destination – the roof of the tower.
Use the rope launcher when climbing the tower's giant supports. The climbing route will become increasingly steep.
The most challenging part is near the top. First, you need to pull yourself onto small, stable shelves, from which the hero doesn't immediately fall or slide.
At the very end, you have to:
- Hold onto one of the protruding elements using th rope- example in picture 1. Pay attention to the small yellow dot indicating that the object you are aiming at is within range of the rope launcher.
- Quickly turn mid-air, and as soon as the cooldown ends fire the rope while still in flight- aim at the roof (picture 2).
If you are completely unable to climb the Tower, you can alternatively wait until you get access to one of the flying vehicles. This will allow you to land on the roof of the Tower.
- You can find and steal an unused flying machine while exploring the game world.
- You can wait until you accumulate at least 2,600 Valor points and unlock the Wasp. After that, you will be able to get it at any FOB base.
