1. Unfortunately, career mode in GT7 is pretty short. It should take you around 17-20 hours to complete all 39 menus that make up the campaign mode. This is assuming that you mainly focus on completing the campaign and that you're playing on the normal difficulty level. If you're playing on a higher difficulty level, you may have to replay some competitions and spend more time tuning cars.

Once you've completed career mode, there is still a lot of interesting singleplayer content to check out - for example, you can learn circuits in the Circuit Experience, earn any licences you've missed or participate in various missions. Many of these activities require repeated attempts to improve your results and get better rewards. As a result, you will spend at least a dozen or so more hours on these activities (or even longer if you're exclusively aiming to get gold).
