During a match in FIFA 22, the ball doesn't always fly to the player we had in mind when making the pass. Fortunately, you can improve the efficiency of your passes by using the option to lock the person to which you are going to pass the ball.

Player Lock in FIFA 22 can be done by pressing the left and right sticks simultaneously. The option will be activated when you notice a characteristic red icon above the head of the player with the ball.

After activating the Player Lock, you can use the right stick to select the player who should receive the ball. When you change the recipient, a distinctive icon will appear above their head.
