On this page of the Far Cry 6 guide, you will learn whether the game has a TPP camera, i.e. the third-person perspective. This can be useful if you don't quite like the default FPP view.
Far Cry 6, similarly to its predecessors, offers an FPP view - the action is observed from the first-person perspective (character's eyes).
There is a TPP (third-person view) option in the game, but it is very limited. The TPP camera activates automatically when visiting friendly rebel camps - there are several on the world map.
Unfortunately, you can't use the TPP option when exploring the world. Whenever you get far enough away from the guerrilla camp, the game will automatically switch back to the FPP.
Additional information - Far Cry 6 has cinematic cut-scenes. This is an additional opportunity to take a closer look at your character, especially since the cut-scenes keep your clothes (except for the head gear, which is temporarily hidden).
