General trophy information
- F1 Manager 2022 features 26 trophies - 1 platinum (available only on the PS4 and PS5), 6 gold, 8 silver and 12 bronze.
- They can all be obtained in singleplayer, as the game doesn't have a multiplayer mode. This means you don't need any sort of subscription such as PS+ either.
- You can make completing the game easier for yourself by choosing one of the best available teams. The ideal candidates would be Red Bull Racing and Ferrari. They should make it easier for you to win in races and championships several trophies are tied to (including gold trophies).
- Plan ahead for the State of the Art, Driving Master and Well-Oiled Machine trophies. You'll need to spend a lot of money on upgrading one of the facilities, as well as focus on developing your driver and pit crew's one specific stat. Earning all these trophies may take you a few in-game seasons.
Problems with unlocking trophies for completing the season - potential bugs
Unfortunately, F1 Manager 2022 has bugs that may prevent you from unlocking some trophies related to seasonal achievements. The problematic trophies are:
- First of Many - you may not receive the achievement for ending the 2022 season (with any result).
- Drivers' Champion - you may not receive the achievement for winning the drivers' championship.
- Constructors' Champion - you may not receive the achievement for winning the constructors' champion.
- El Plan - you may not receive the achievement for completing the seasonal management objective.
- Visionary - you may not receive the achievement for completing the long-term management goal.
The problem is probably due to the fact that the game is not able to award several trophies in a row, e.g. for winning both the drivers' classification and ending the season. Only one achievement will be awarded at a time. You can deal with this problem in two ways:
- Save the game before the final race in Abu Dhabi. Play this race and if you do not receive all trophies, load the save and repeat the last race. Unfortunately, this method allows you to get only 1 trophy for each end of the season.
- Save your game after the race in Abu Dhabi (on a separate slot) and skip through the calendar to advance to the 2023 season. There is a chance that achievements will unlock at various events. In our case, the last trophy was unlocked after playing training sessions before the Bahrain GP 2023 (picture above).

How to unlock: Unlock all trophies.
Trophy type: platinum
Comment: Platinum trophy in F1 Manager 22 is available only on PS4 and PS5 consoles.
To Finish First, First You Must Finish
How to unlock: Complete your first Grand Prix.
Trophy type: bronze
If you're playing with the tutorial enabled, you won't get this trophy by completing the first chronological Grand Prix, which is the one in Bahrain. It only becomes available during the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. Complete the race to earn the trophy, regardless of your placement.
First of Many
How to unlock: Complete a full season
Trophy type: gold
Comment: Your team must complete all 22 races in the 2022 season. Your final placement is irrelevant.
Top Step
How to unlock: Win a Grand Prix.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: To win easily you could choose the Ferrari or Red Bull Racing team. They start off very strong and can already win on their own without any investment.
Pole Position
How to unlock: Qualify in pole position.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: We recommend choosing the Ferrari or Red Bull Racing team in your career mode. Their drivers have the best chance of qualifying in pole position.
On the Qualifying page in the Racing weekend chapter you will find tips on how to complete them successfully. It's important to release your drivers onto a relatively empty and a well-rubbered track.
Drivers' Champion
How to unlock: Win the Drivers' Championship.
Trophy type: gold
Comment: We recommend choosing the Ferrari or Red Bull Racing team, as they're the strongest competitors in season 2022.
Save the game often - preferably before each part of the qualifications in order to avoid failure and elimination in Q1 or Q2, as well as to qualify in pole position. We recommend loading the most recent save if one of your drivers is eliminated out of the race or ends up in the last place after making a serious mistake. Develop and train the team throughout the season to keep up with your opponents.
Constructors' Champion
How to unlock: Win the Constructors' Championship.
Trophy type: gold
Comment: We recommend choosing the Ferrari or Red Bull Racing team, as they're the strongest competitors in season 2022.
Save the game often - preferably before each part of the qualifications in order to avoid failure and elimination in Q1 or Q2, as well as to qualify in pole position. We recommend loading the most recent save if one of your drivers is eliminated out of the race or ends up in the last place after making a serious mistake. Another One
How to unlock: Finish on the podium 10 times in one career.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: You can earn this trophy easily by choosing a top-tier team, such as Red Bull Racing or Ferrari. They should be able to finish in the top three on a regular basis. A single one of your drivers completing the Grand Prix in the top three is enough to make progress with this trophy.
You don't need to finish in the top three 10 times in the same season. Your podium placements can be spread out over a few seasons / years. Just make sure you keep playing through the same career.
Had Your Porridge
How to unlock: Win 10 Grands Prix in one career.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This is a more difficult version of the Another One trophy described above. Finishing first 10 times will probably take you a bit longer, but you're not obliged to do so in a single season. These 10 victories can span your entire career.
Settling In
How to unlock: Complete 5 Grands Prix in one career.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: Simply play through five races in the 2022 season - the results don't matter. You should receive this trophy after finishing the Miami GP.
Paddock Regular
How to unlock: Complete 10 Grands Prix in one career.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: Simply play through ten races in the 2022 season - the results don't matter. You should receive this trophy after finishing the Great Britain GP.
High Roller
How to unlock: Achieve a sponsor guarantee.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: Before starting a racing weekend (including the first one in Bahrain) you can enter the Performance Targets menu. They're divided into Incentives (green) and Guarantees. You can prepare one or more sponsor guarantees by yourself:
- Choose any category, such as those related to qualifications or racing. Guarantees are always risky - you'll receive a reward if you fulfill it, but you'll lose money if you fail.
- Agree to the default guarantee terms or change the terms to make it easier to fulfill. In the example pictured above, we've agreed to a guarantee for one of our drivers to finish the race in 12th place or higher.
If you manage to fulfill the objective, you'll unlock the trophy the moment the race ends.
Race Strategist
How to unlock: Assign a race strategy.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: This trophy is easily obtainable early on, during the first racing weekend in Bahrain. You can assign a race strategy before the race begins. The game will suggest you a few strategies - A, B and C. Choose any driver and select any of the suggested strategies. This unlocks the trophy - you don't actually need to race with the strategy assigned.
Facility Expansion
How to unlock: Build or upgrade a facility.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: There's a separate Facilities tab in the main menu. To earn the trophy you can either build a new facility or upgrade an already existing one. Choose something cheap - the facility pictured above is the Tour Centre and it costs less than $120,000.
You must now wait for the construction to finish - this can take a few in-game weeks. You'll receive the trophy once the game messages you about the work on the facility being completed.
State of the Art
How to unlock: Upgrade your design centre to the maximum level.
Trophy type: gold
Comment: The Design Centre is one of the buildings available in the Facilities tab. The facility's starting level varies depending on the team, but it usually starts at level 2.
Your objective is to upgrade it to level 5. This is a very expensive process, as each upgrade costs millions of dollars. Don't try to fully upgrade it in a single season, as the sheer cost could easily bankrupt you. All facilities carry over across seasons, so there's no need to rush.
Fits Like a Glove
How to unlock: Fit a car part to your car.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: You should always have a free part when starting a new career - Suspension. Enter the settings of any car (driver 1 or driver 2) and install the part, replacing the default one. You'll get the trophy right away.
Designer
How to unlock: Design a car part.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: You'll find the Design option in the cars tab in the main menu. To earn this trophy you can design any kind of part and choose any settings (time spent on simulations, part balance, number of engineers assigned, project priority, etc.).
Wait for the project to be completed (the lower the priority you chose, the longer it'll take). Once it is, you'll unlock the trophy.
Regulator
How to unlock: Vote on a regulation change.
Trophy type: bronze
Note: The first vote on the change of the rules takes place in April, during the first season of the career. It's a message that you have to answer by selecting option A or B (the choice itself is relevant as far as getting the trophy is concerned). The achievement will be unlocked immediately.
Forward Thinker
How to unlock: Complete a car part research project for next season.
Trophy type: bronze
Note: This achievement is directly related to the Regulator trophy above. You have to vote on the changes to the aero rules and receive feedback on what changes will be made in the next racing season.
Only now will you be able to select the Research tab from the car design menu. Choose any field of research. You need to delegate at least 1 engineer to it and wait for the research project to end.
El Plan
How to unlock: Achieve the board's season target.
Trophy type: gold
Comment: This trophy is tied to the Board, the club's owners and thus your higher-ups.
The Season Objective applies to the current F1 season - that is, if you're just starting off, it applies to the 2022 season. The objective varies depending on the team - in the example pictured above, your goal is to finish the season at least 6th in the constructors' ranking.
Save your progress between races, repeat the ones you fail and try not to fall too far behind, as it may be difficult to catch back up.
Visionary
How to unlock: Achieve a long-term board objective.
Trophy type: gold
Comment: This trophy is tied to the Board, the club's owners and thus your higher-ups.
The Long-Term Objective is always different from the seasonal one. You can check it while choosing the team or starting a new career. Some of the best candidates to start off with are Red Bull Racing or Ferrari. Their long-term objective is to simply come up first in the Constructors' ranking. The objectives may be more complex in case of some weaker teams and can span several seasons.
Save your progress between races and repeat the failed ones. Make sure you do your best during racing weekends - have both your drivers finish high up in the ranking if possible.
Driving Master
How to unlock: Have a driver with 100 in any performance rating.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: Each driver has attributed Performance Ratings (pictured above) you can check on their sheets. Each of them can have a value of 0-100. Your objective is to get any of the parameters up to 100. Here are the main tips for this achievement:
- Try to have one of the top F1 drivers in your team. They have a good chance of starting with at least 90 points in one of their stats. In the example pictured above, Charles Leclerc has 93 points in Braking, which means he needs only 7 more to max it out.
- Invest all acquired points into your highest stat. As a reminder, your drivers earn development points by completing races and gaining XP (the better they do during the race, the more points they'll get). This process is always time-consuming - it's likely you'll only manage to max out a stat in the second season.
Done Deal
How to unlock: Sign a contract with a driver or staff member.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: You can easily get this trophy very early on by replacing one of your starting drivers. Save the game beforehand to revert the changes after earning the trophy.
Select any of your drivers and click the Scout for Replacement button.
Choose any driver from the list (we recommend a cheap one) and start negotiating a contract. Offering a high paycheck will make your offer more convincing.
Finally click the Hire button. This also confirms you'll cover the costs of replacing the driver. Hiring a new driver unlocks the trophy.
All Hands On Deck
How to unlock: Have 18 engineers assigned to projects at the same time.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This trophy can't be obtained right away. You must first upgrade the Design Center - one of your most important facilities.
You need the Design Centre reach the maximum level, which is 5 (it will also earn you the State of the Art trophy). Only then will you be able to go to the Staff tab and increase the employment of the Engineering Team to at least 18 people.
Start 3 different projects and assign 6 engineers to each of them. You will get the achievement immediately when at least 18 people work on your projects (example in the picture above).
Eye for Talent
How to unlock: Scout a driver or staff member.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: This trophy is similar to the Done Deal one, described earlier. To earn it you must Scout for the perfect candidate before beginning negotiations.
Go to the drivers' menu and click Scout Drivers. Select anyone from the list who's Open to Negotiation. You can go for short scouting (10 days) or full scouting (30 days). Then just wait for the results.
Well-Oiled Machine
How to unlock: Have your pit crew reach 100 in any performance rating.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: You can manage your Pit Crew from the Staff tab. Their skills increase throughout the season.
Your Pit Crew's training is balanced by default, meaning all their stats will increase equally. If you wish to earn this achievement sooner, focus on training a single parameter to max it out early. In the example pictured above we instructed the crew to focus on Tyre Changes, as that was the stat closest to 100.
Choose your box crew specialization as early as possible in the season, preferably before the first race. At the end of the 2022 season, the skills of your crew members could be reduced and you would have to try again in the 2023 season. However, the skill level does not drop back to the original level - you should be able to get the value to 100 first.
On the Board
How to unlock: Score your first championship point.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: This is a very simple trophy - any semi-capable team should be able to get it. One of your drivers must finish in the top 10 in any race and thus earn at least one point.
