This page of the guide to Elex 2 contains all the information about your companion Caja. You will learn where the main character's wife is in the game world, how to recruit Caja, what types of attacks she has, and what decisions can affect the relationship with her.
Kaja - companion location and recruitment
Caja is the wife of the main character - Jax. She is one of the first characters you meet in Elex 2. You will meet her shortly after the prologue, during the Where is Caja? main quest. You have to reach the Berserkers' outpost in western Carakis (south of the Bastion) shown in the screenshot above - when you get there, a cut-scene will start and you will meet Caja.
You can't ask her to travel with you right away. First, you must complete the Only a Dead Morkon quest during which you have to reach the Morkon camp and kill a few of them.
If you have a problem with defeating the Morkons as a low-level character, equip any ranged weapons and aim for the red barrels in the camp. Their explosions can easily kill nearby enemies.
After dealing with the Morkons, you have to return to Caja and choose the dialogue option saying that you would like to see her by your side. Then invite her to travel the world together.
Fighting alongside Caja
Kaja is a Berserker mage, and during fights she uses mainly fire spells. She can be a very helpful companion early in the game, because her spells can kill monsters that would be quite a problem for the early-level Jax.
Building a relationship with Caja
- You must know that good deeds (those that reduce your Destruction level) can improve your relationship with Caja. Bad deeds worsen it.
- Caja likes decisions in favor of the Berserkers and Clerics . She dislikes helping the Outlaws, Morkons and Albs.
- Caja likes you more when you make courageous and cunning decision, and dislikes stupidity and greed.
