This page of the Elex 2 guide contains a walkthrough of the An Alb Agent mission. You receive this quest from Irissa after completing the quest Tracking with the Albs. Our tips will tell you of the combination to Skibor's safe and where to look for Viper. This quest tasks you with solving the mystery of the explosion in the Depository. Completing it is the only way of joining the Albs.

Searching Skibor's apartment
First you must go to Skibor's apartment - it'll be marked on your map. There you will meet Zarik, who has already started looking for clues. In the right part of the apartment you'll find Skibor's journal. Talk to Zarik - now you need the code to Skibor's safe.
The code to Skibor's safe
The correct code is 2314. You can also decode it yourself by combining the journal information with the hint Zarik gave you. After opening the safe take the items inside and talk to Zarik.
Together, you'll return to Irissa. You'll be directed to Azok who'll order you to find Zarik. He's in the scavengers' sector - his location is marked on the map. You must now travel with Zarik to the Castle, the Clerics' headquarters.
Travelling with Zarik
During your journey you'll find corpses of Clerics - searching them will trigger an ambush. Your attackers are strong but Zarik will help you, dishing out some serious damage. If you're having problems focus on dodging, only attacking from time to time. Overtime Zarik should significantly soften the enemies up. Defeat the attackers to continue your journey.
After some time, you will come across a group of Rock Dragons . You can avoid them or attack them - if you managed to defeat the previous enemies, these ones shouldn't trouble you too much.
Metting the reavers
After a while you'll have to go through a tunnel. Here you'll meet Veronica who will lead you to her group's leader.
It turns out the reavers don't intend to let you pass. You can solve this problem in two ways:
- Kill the reavers - they aren't too tough but watch out not to get surrounded. This option also completes the Kill the reavers near the castle mission. Searching the hideout is also worth your time, as you can find many valuable items and Elexit crystals inside.
- Intimidate (requires 30 Strength), then bribery with 500 Elexit crystals - this option lets you avoid combat.
Regardless of your choice, soon you and Zarik will arrive near the castle and split up.
Investigating the Castle
First, talk to the Castle's gatekeeper. She'll direct you to Hagen, who, in turn, will direct you to Keno to get the journal. Keno will give you the key to his chest located on the nearby platform. Inside you will find the journal you are looking for and some Elexit crystals. Don't take the crystals, otherwise Hagen is going to ask about them. Take the journal to Hagen. After getting the information you can return to Zarik, who's waiting in front of the Castle's entrance. Now you must head to the Crater - the Outlaws' headquarters.
Investigating the Crater: where is Viper?
You must investigate the Crater to find an Outlaw named Viper. Talk to three characters : the gatekeeper in front of the main gate, Neron (he can be found in the training grounds in the left part of the Crater), and Micky the innkeeper (the tavern is next to the upper Crater district's entrance).
Soon enough a girl named Fiona will come up to you. She'll demand a large number of crystals for information, but just refuse to make her drop the price down to 10 Elexit crystals.
You'll learn that Micky, the bartender you talked with earlier, knows something about Viper. Go back to him and ask to meet Viper. Wait one day and talk to Micky again - he'll take you to meet Viper.
Meeting Viper
Enter the building you're being led into and go upstairs. The stairs are on the left. Viper is waiting there - talk to him.
After the conversation he'll attack you. Don't worry about the guards, Zarik will kill them for you. After defeating Viper, talk to Zarik and return to the Depository.
Completing the quest
In the Depository, talk to Irissa and then to Azok. The dialogue options you choose here don't change anything later on. This will complete the quest An Alb Agent in Elex 2, letting you join the Albs.
