This page of the Elex 2 game guide contains a walkthrough of the Bahadur's Right Hand quest received from Bahadur after completing The Duties of an Overseer quest. Your goal is to find a replacement for the position of Mordrag - you can choose either Dimitr or Marat. The decision you make will affect the rest of the game - below we list the consequences of your choices.
The choices you make in this quest will affect whether you stay with the Morkon faction or have to join the Outlaws.

Dimitr or Marat - who to choose?
After receiving the quest, go to Jax's Voice. He will tell you that Marat would be suitable for the position of Mordrag, but he will also mention a mutual friend. The person is Lazar, who you may have already met if you've agreed to be Ivika's spy and started The Way of Kriiton quest.
Option 1 - choosing Dimitr (Kriiton path)
Choosing Dimitr will cause the quest to fail. This choice will lock you out from the option to advance the ranks in the Morkon faction and you will have to join the Outlaws. It's worth adding that this is the only way to join the Outlaws.
If you want to choose Dimitr for the position, go to Lazar at the bottom of the Grotto. If you haven't visited this place yet, talk to Ivika and agree to become a spy. Lazar will recommend Dimitr.
Go to Dimitr and offer him the position of Mordrag. Dimitr will only agree if you officially side with the Poachers. To do this, go to Bahadur and tell him that you are joining the Poachers. Then talk to Dimitr again - he will agree to take the position.
Now go back to Jax's Voice and select Dimitr for the position. You will go to Bahadur together. Upon hearing the decision, Bahadur will give up the idea of choosing Jax as his right hand, and the quest will fail. Advancing in the ranks of the Morkons will no longer be possible and the faction storyline will be continued in The Way of Kriiton quest.
Option 2 - choosing Marat (Ravaac path)
Choosing Marat will make The Way of Kriiton quest fail. Thus, you will be unable to join the Outlaw faction. However, you will get the opportunity to be promoted to the highest rank of the Morkons.
If you want to choose Marat for the position, go to him - he is in the Cellar bar in the Grotto. Marat will agree right away, you don't need to take any additional steps.
Inform Jax's Voice of the decision and take him to Bahadur. He will be happy with this choice After your character reaches at least level 30, you can advance to the highest rank of the Morkon faction and thus complete the quest. However, you will lose the chance to join the Outlaws as part of the The Way of Kriiton quest.
