This page of the Elex 2 guide contains a walkthrough of the Protection Money Problems quest. You will receive it from Vicky, the merchant near the main entrance to the Crater. Your task will be to help Vicky deal with Blade, who collects protection tribute from her.
Meeting with Blade
After talking to Vicky, the location of Blade will be marked on your map. Go there and start a conversation. The only way to resolve the conflict is to fight Blade. He has little health, so the fight shouldn't be a problem for you.
Optional: extorting money from Vicky
Defeat Blade to make him promise to stop collecting tribute from Vicky. At this point, you can go back to the trader and complete the Protection Money Problems quest in Elex 2. Optionally, you can also get extra Elexit crystals by intimidating Vicky.
