On this guide page you will find the best builds for each character available in Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance.

At the time of writing this guide, D&D Dark Alliance had 4 different heroes: Drizzt Do'urden, Catti-Brie, Bruenor Battlehammer and Wulfgar. Each of them represents a different style of gameplay.

Drizzt Do'urden

Drizzt Do'urden in D&D Dark Alliance is a typical assassin who uses two Scimitars in combat. He is exceptionally agile and delivers powerful critical hits with great precision.

1. Key attributes: Dexterity, Strength, Constitution;
2. Abilities: Battle Trance, Cloud of Daggers;
3. Feats: choose offensive bonuses first (attack bonus, critical hit chance, critical damage), and only later develop defensive bonuses (HP, immunity, armor);
4. Useables: Health Potion, Elixir of Concentration, Potion of Heroism, Alchemist Fire;
5. Set: Dragonsbane, which will provide a very large bonus to critical damage.

Catti-Brie

Catti-Brie is a very balanced character who is the only one in Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance that can use a bow. She's great at long-range combat, as her deadly arrows reach the enemies from afar, but she handles close-quarters combat equally well, too.

1. Key attributes: Dexterity, Intelligence (elemental damage, faster ability cooldown), Constitution;
2. Abilities: Healing Spirit, Heartseeker Volley;
3. Feats: choose offensive bonuses first (attack bonus, critical damage), and only later develop defensive bonuses (HP, immunity, armor);
4. Useables: Health Potion, Elixir of Concentration, Potion of Heroism, Stamina Potion;
5. Set: Goblin Reaper, which greatly increases the chance of performing a critical hit.

Bruenor Battlehammer

Bruenor Battlehammer works great as a tank, because he can focus the enemy attention on himself and take a huge amount of damage. What's more, Bruenor's range of attacks features skills that will allow you to control your opponents.

1. Key attributes: Strength, Constitution, Wisdom;
2. Abilities: Whirlwind, Anvil of Clangeddin;
3. Feats: when developing Bruenor, you need to take care of both offensive and defensive bonuses, so it is worth developing two trees at the same time - The Anvil and the Hammer;
4. Useables: Health Potion, Elixir of Concentration, Potion of Heroism, Stamina Potion;
5. Set: Coldstone Guardian, which greatly reduces the received physical damage. After completing the entire set, Bruenor will receive an Invulnerable buff while using the Whirlwind ability.

Wulfgar

Wulfgar is a typical Damage Dealer, who uses a large two-handed hammer in combat, which allows him to deal huge physical damage.

1. Key attributes: Strength, Constitution, Dexterity/Charisma;
2. Abilities: Hammer Throw, Shockwave;
3. Feats: choose offensive bonuses first (The Wolf tree), and then develop defensive bonuses (The Elk tree);
4. Useables: Health Potion, Elixir of Resistance, Potion of Heroism, Alchemist Fire;
5. Set: Blacksmith's Apprentice or Corsair's Panache Sets.
